This review is from: ASUS X99-A LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: I found the board well laid out with plenty of fan headers to use with my Corsair water cooler.
Cons: updating the bios was more of a pain than normal in that you have a particular USB port to use and having to I update the BIOS by down loading the cap file transferring it to my usb drive going to the back of the computer to find the usb port then going into the BIOS to the tools section and clicking on EZ flash which then found the drive and update file and updated the bios.
Other Thoughts: I really like this board it does what I want it to do ie run the memory at 3000 w/out a problem. and eight slots are full w/32 gb can't see needing or wanting more.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Onkyo TX-NR838 7.2 Channel Network A/V Receiver
Pros: Great A/V Receiver Does a very good job with the sound and video. Connected with my network w/out a problem and has successfully reconnected whenever I have turned it back on. Installation was easy when you are using only HDMI cables. I did connect up my old CD player using analog cables w/ out a problem, not sure I will use it as my Blue Ray DVD player does a better job
Cons: Only thing I was not able to hook up to it was a very old cassette player which I do not use any more so not really a con.
Other Thoughts: Very Happy with the Receiver I'm getting great sound from Pandora via the Net which is a plus. And the audio and video is outstanding .READ FULL REVIEW
