CORSAIR CX series CX430 430W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC 80 Plus Bronze ErP Lot 6 ATX12V & EPS12V Power Supply Power Supply
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

Pros: Price was reasonable

Cons: I bought this for a budget build on some old hardware. The SATA power connectors are made of brittle plastic. Two have broken in a way that they will no longer stay on the drives. With non-modular cables, this is a real pain.

DIYPC SW-711 Black SPCC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

1 out of 5 eggs Came free with PSU 05/09/2012

This review is from: DIYPC SW-711 Black SPCC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Free

Cons: This is an incredibly cheaply built case. Even though I received it for free, I don't think I will put any hardware in it. It's light & flimsy. Cheap stamped steel. Some of the panels look crooked. I didn't put my hand inside but I'd expect sharp flesh-eating edges. Antec cases start for only $10 more - I can't see any reason to buy this.

XFX Gift - WarPad w/ Edgeless Support System

3 out of 5 eggs Large - unless it doesn't fit your desk 02/07/2012

This review is from: XFX Gift - WarPad w/ Edgeless Support System

Pros: Enormous space. Good surface - smooth, light friction.

Cons: The edge clip system is not compatible with my desk - or any desk that has drawers, it seems. The pad has a clip at one end, designed to grasp about 3-4" of the desk. My desk has only a 1" overhang at the front and drawers beneath. So there's 4" of mousepad dangling off the front of my desk.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't pay $50 for it but since it came free with a GPU, meh.
