Pros: may work as a tablet for some people?
Cons: My wife finds the computer completely unusable with the keyboard attachment.
1) the screen keeps falling off the keyboard base.
2) the screen tilt only works in a few orientations, none of which are OK for working at a laptop. Either the screen is pointed down at her knees, or up at the ceiling, meaning she has to contort herself in awkward positions to see the screen at all.
Other Thoughts: Perhaps it works just fine as a tablet, but do not expect it to work as a laptop.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Good specs for the price. Compact card
Cons: Product worked well, but for less than an hour. Within an hour of using it, my screen started glitching, then turned off and on a few times. Then my computer crashed.
When I replaced the old card, I figured out that windows was mad corrupted. Windows repaid didn't fix anything, and even though I fixed other symptoms of the problem (corrupted drivers, lost .NET framework), the OS was shot. At least it gave me a reason to install Win7 64 bit over the 32 bit OS on my PC.
Either way, they are taking it back (Newegg even is covering the shipping label) and I'll see how the replacement works.
Other Thoughts: I'm OK getting lemons as long as the manufacturer replaces them considerately. That starts to change when the lemon screws up other stuff when it fails. Definitely not going to give it a third chance if my OS crashes again with the replacement.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Case Logic SLRC-200 Black SLR Camera Holster
Pros: Compact, inexpensive case that seems to offer decent protection. The bottom is a tough foam (I believe their claim that it is waterproof).
Cons: I would like just a little more padding, and really the case needs to have a little more space inside. I have a Nikon D5100 with the standard lens, and it stretches the case when I zipper it shut. This reduces the effectiveness of the padding, as there is no extra space to absorb the impact of any shock. I am concerned also that the constant compression of the case along the axis of the lens may cause the autofocus mechanism to degrade over time. They could greatly improve the case by making it just an inch or two deeper. I always make sure to minimize the length of the lens barrel before putting it away, and it still has this problem.
I suppose that I could remove the lens each time I want to put the camera away, but this allows dust to get into the camera, and then also would greatly increase the time needed to take a picture.
Also, the fact that the handle on top is on the zippered lid flap makes me nervous that someone will pick it up someday and the camera will fall out
