ARCTIC Accelero Twin Turbo III VGA Cooler for nVidia & AMD, Dual 92mm PWM Fans, Patented Backside Heatsink, SLI/CrossFire
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: The temperatures have dropped from being maxed at 80C to 52C which is an amazing decrease. Much more than expected

Cons: The design..... oh man
First off, following the instructions picture for picture (no words are included) the spacers kept the heatsink from even making contact with the gpu. After removing that, I got it all back together and realized that it would not fit on my motherboard with my other gpu with the backplate. So i had to rearrange my entire case around this only to realize that the heatsink backplate is blocking the sli connector port on my video card. I had to shave down the connector to make it fit. After all this, their bracket connector is completely useless because i have the other gpu which it would not allow me to put in. In the end i got it working, but it was a nightmarish three hour reconfiguration of my case instead of a simple half hour swap out of heatsinks.

Other Thoughts: I ONLY recommend this to people with a LARGE case and using a single gpu. SLI is extremely difficult to set up and it blocks my hard drive slots in antec 300.

Cooler Master Hyper N520 - CPU Cooler with Copper Base and 5 Heatpipes
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Keeps CPU below 50C

Cons: I originally rated this cooler a 5 egg because of its ability to cool. It was rattling very softly when I first got it, but it now makes this noise consistently. It irritates me to no end and makes me wish i had bought an all in one water cooler.

Other Thoughts: I recommend going with a different cooler. It is so loud that I dont want to turn on my computer anymore.

5 out of 5 eggs Good air cooler 02/22/2014

This review is from: Cooler Master Hyper N520 - CPU Cooler with Copper Base and 5 Heatpipes

Pros: keeps my cpu at rest around 30C and at max load around 50C. No water involved. Includes thermal paste with it.

Cons: A little bit loud. Compared to the rest of my rig (5 case fans and 2 gtx 760's) it is by far the loudest component. The install is quite a hassle. If i had installed it before putting anything else on it would've been fine, but putting it in a month after finishing my build made it very difficult to manage.

Other Thoughts: I wish I had bought this before putting my pc together.
The first time I installed it, it rattled because I tightened it too much on the diagonal brackets and it would wobble when i stood up my case. This was fixed by reseating it.
