This review is from: Hisense Sero 7 PRO M470BSA 7.0" Touchscreen Android Tablet NVIDIA Tegra 3 Quad Core CPU 1.30Ghz, 1GB Memory, 8GB Internal Storage, Micro SD card slot, Mini HDMI Out, NFC, Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean)
Pros: Cheaper than most other tablets with comparable specs
Cons: Bad charging ports.
Other Thoughts: I bought this tablet for a Christmas present, and it was well received, but within a couple weeks, it became difficult to charge; you had to seat the cable just right and hope it didn't move at all. So I returned it and got another tablet. That one worked fine for a few months, but now it has the exact same problem. I bought another of these tablets some time before, and never noticed because I didn't use it much but can now confirm that it has the same problem.
3 out of 3 times this tablet has had a charging port failure, twice in under a year, and once in just over a year, but having spent most of its time idling in a drawer, so essentially unused.
I have also purchased an ASUS Memopad HD for $50 more and it has had no problems at all, so I would say save your pennies and buy that one instead.
Pros: For the price with rebate, an excellent product. Works well, runs quiet and cool, has the right connectors. it comes with zip ties; I appreciate that sort of attention to detail.
Cons: None that I can see. Kind of weird how the power plug is facing the opposite direction from most power supplies.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Well set up, everything in a sensible location, feels solid in the hand, didn't flex even with a heavy CPU cooler attached
Cons: No internal speaker for beep codes.
The audio port does not work right when the cable is fully inserted; I had to pull the audio cable out about 1/8" to get sound out of both speakers. Fully inserted, it only produced sound out the left side.
Other Thoughts: It's good for what I need it for (small media and web-browsing system)READ FULL REVIEW
