  • eggxpert iconEggXpert
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Nice Design.

Cons: Wifi intermittently drops - 2.4 and 5ghz disappear.
Living in a building with 9 other neighbors.
Genie APP The apps is pretty basic and some functions do not work

Other Thoughts: The MAC address from the put out card did not match the box, so provisioning the modem was an issue at first, but everything was smooth sailing after that .

Check that if you have issues with provisioning with your cable company.

TP-LINK Archer C2 AC750 Dual Band Wireless AC Gigabit Router, USB Port, IPv6, Guest Network
  • eggxpert iconEggXpert
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Sleek design
Gigabit ports
Worked with tablet, phone and laptop

Cons: Dust magnet
Only USB 2.0
Does require restarts

Other Thoughts: The wireless router markets grows ever so convoluted.
So many choices from this company alone with different price points and marginal performance gains.
There are 3 different types of AC routers.
This was the entry level model and this is my story.
I won't' be replacing my current router just yet.
