This review is from: Otterbox Preserver Case for Samsung Galaxy S4 Carbon (77-33792)
Pros: It's water proof and just about indestructible. It seems very well made. So far, no issues.
Cons: It's bulky, but that's to be expected with a waterproof case. It's also difficult to open, but that's also to be expected. In the end, you get what you pay for. About the only reason anyone should buy this case is specifically because it's water proof. If that's what you want, this is a good case. If that's not what you want, Otterbox has plenty of other good cases you can buy.
The lanyard also doesn't have a quick disconnect, which is something that could be improved upon.
Pros: This is a fast and reliable drive. First, boot time and most application load is much faster, even with dual boot (for me, Windows 7 Home Premiium 64bit and OpenSuSE 13.2 64bit).
Second, it's reliable.
Third, it's not expensive.
I have an A+ cert and I've owned this family of drive since the first 500GB laptop model, then the 750GB 7200rpm laptop model, and now the desktop model. Each one has never given me a single problem and has been easy to use, no configuration required.
Cons: Absolutely none I can think of.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: OtterBox Defender Glacier Solid Holster for Samsung Galaxy S4 77-27437
Pros: This case is extremely good at protecting your phone. The outer silicon part acts like a bumper pad. The screen protector does a good job protecting against scratches (though the S4 has a gorilla glass screen already). This case is made with the emphasis on protection.
Also, the holster, when I wear it, does an excellent job with the S4's headphones, making hands-free very easy.
You can also adjust the holster's clip, meaning you can wear this thing on almost any side and at almost any angle.
Cons: The only cons I can think of, which are minor, are the silicon outer case (it's grippy, so it doesn't work so well in clothing that has smaller pockets, because it can be slightly difficult to put in your pocket). I say that because not everyone can wear the holster all the time. But despite that, this is an excellent case.
Other Thoughts: I do not bother putting my phone in my back pocket because I think that's not only a bad place for it to be (in terms of the potential for damage) but this case probably wouldn't fit anyways. So I haven't even tried it.
I recommend, for people who want something a bit more minimal for certain occasions, get the Commuter case. I have both and so when I need to, I switch between the two. The Commuter's case screen protector doesn't cause any problems underneath this case's rigid screen protector, so switching back and forth is easy.
