This review is from: ASUS X99-DELUXE/U3.1 LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: Many, many options. Wireless built in. It actually has more options than I'm sure I'll ever use.
Cons: This board has been a nightmare, but dealing with customer service has been even worse. Along with the "forever" boot time, I continually got 3 error boxes from ASUS Setup. When I contacted their support department, he would not do anything, till I went through Microsoft, just for them to say, it's not their problem. This is their out, because if you've ever tried, you don't talk to Microsoft, without paying them. I re-installed the OS 3 times, and each time, the error message cleared, till the motherboard went into the registration process, then the errors were back. You'd think for the money, you would not have ANY problems.
I just wanted to update, Jan 1, 2016. I'm still dealing with the same nightmares as I was a year ago. I am now in Newegg, to purchase another motherboard. I'm calling this one a learning experience, and throwing in the towel. I can't say that Asus has a bad product, because it is an advanced board, but my service hasn't been the best. I will still by Asus, but not a motherboard.
Other Thoughts: After giving up on their support department, I finally found a forum, where it appears this problem is common on these v3 boards. I was able to find a fix, by going into the programs and removing the files from the chipset drivers. So, that identified it was a problem from ASUS, but what caused me to give 2 stars, was their customer service department and their attempt to get me to throw in the towel, by insisting that I get a clearance from Microsoft. I won't by ASUS again. I've shopped Newegg for over 10 years, built more than 12 computers, and this will be my last ASUS. Looks like MSI or Gigabyte will get my business.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: 14k Yellow Gold 15in Children's 3mm Synthetic Garnet Heart Birth month Necklace
Pros: My daughter liked it.
Cons: The picture does not do the stone justice. I thought I'd at least be able to see it. It is ultra tiny, even smaller than the picture shows. Though I know it stated it was synthetic, you'd figure for the size, and price, it could have been real.
Other Thoughts: If your looking for a birthstone necklace for your child, this one should do. It is pretty, and my daughter loved it, though she thinks it is a real garnet. I am not disappointed I bought it, but a little disappointed on the size of the garnet. When it says 3mm, convert that to inches, because it' like 1/16"... tiny!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: D-Link DHP-311AV PowerLine AV Mini Adapter Starter Kit Up to 200Mbps
Pros: I've had these more than a year, probably close to 2, and I"m here to order more. Right now, I own 5 of them, my house is 2300 SF, and it's the easiest way to network all my computers (4 &1 Security system). I used wireless wi-fi, but because of my plastered walls and double bricking outside, it's hard to pass signals from a wi-fi.
Cons: To this day, none.
Other Thoughts: In the directions, they tell you not to use power-strips etc..., because you will degrade the signal. I found this to be totally true. To get the best connections, make sure, you plug directly into your wall socket, and if possible, plug nothing else into the second plug. Where I do have additional appliances plugged in, they are lamps, etc.. that draws very little amps.READ FULL REVIEW
