TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND Ultimate Wireless N300 Router, Gigabit, 300Mbps, USB port, 3 Detachable Antennas / IP QoS/ QSS Button
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Works well for 20 minutes.

Cons: 3 stars is too much for this router. Wan connection kept dropping every 20 minutes. Had to reboot. Bought another brand router that seems to work well. This one went back to Newegg.

Other Thoughts: Newegg is the best.

HP Laptop 350 G1 (G4S60UT#ABA) Intel Core i3 4005U (1.7 GHz) 4 GB Memory 500 GB HDD Intel HD Graphics 4400 15.6

Pros: Overall build quality is good, I have seen better but not at this price. I like that its a 4th gen CPU, many companies are pushing the old stuff. The ram is expandable to 16GB, this is important. Beware of those cheap Asus / Toshiba / Acer laptops that are stuck at 4GB. This is real nasty. Also, many laptops have a built in battery, none removable. This unit has a removable battery. The battery will go bad one day and you will need to replace it.

Cons: The only con is the track pad that seems a bit spastic. Not the end of the world.

Other Thoughts: You can probably find laptops for 50-100 less but they will have the Pentium processor, non removable battery and non upgradable ram. The extra money for this one seems worth it.

TP-LINK Archer C7 Wireless AC1750 Dual Band Gigabit Router, 450Mbps on 2.4GHz + 1300Mbps on 5Ghz, 2 USB Ports, IPv6, Guest Network
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Guys, version 1 and 2 and different animals, I had ver 1 and had drop outs on 5 ghz. This is a known problem. Exchanged with version 2, and it now works perfect.

Cons: No cons, the people over at TP Link are real nice.

Other Thoughts: Don't slam a great company, what you purchased is very new technology. If you wanted completely stable, go with 802.11 N 2.4 Ghz
