Pros: Seems very fast and video quality is quite good.
Cons: First card only lasted about a minute and a half. RMA has been running fine for about 7 weeks. Noticing some blue pixellation artifacts in America's Army game. Cannot get theater mode to display video full screen on secondary monitor with cloned displays.
Other Thoughts: Cons are comparing new card in new Vista 64 computer with an older Intel P4 XP computer with ATI X1650 card and Catalyst drivers. I can't understand why features I used in older card and drivers don't work in newer system. I'm using latest 64 bit Catalyst 9.1.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: Huge fans=great airflow, low noise. Nice area for routing cables for improved air flow and neat looking installation.
Cons: What's the point of filter in front bezel if the side fan vent has no filter? No system speaker. Had to find my own when I had problems and needed to hear beep codes from mobo.
Other Thoughts: Fabricated my own filter for side fan opening. With the bottom mounted power supply found a neater installation by rotating top fan 90 degrees clockwise and tie wrapping wires along back of case.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: PHILIPS DVDR3576H/37 160 GB Hard Disk/DVD Recorder
Pros: Easy to use, works much like a VCR. Digital tuner. Records HD programs in proper 16:9 aspect ratio. IMHO best video recording product on market for those who rely on over the air signals and don't mind less picture quality.
Cons: If it were only high def. Downscales HD content to standard definition.
Other Thoughts: Tivo HD recorder may be better picture quality, but there's that pesky monthly subscription fee and the Tivo won't work unless you pay them. For this reason I will never purchase a Tivo. Tivos should have manual scheduling for us cheapskates out there. Others have complained about channel switching time, it seems to change channels just as fast as the TV its connected to. Have not used DVD recorder, because with hard drive there really isn't a need to unless you want to archive a show. although I checked to make sure the door opened and closed and checked out DVD playback.READ FULL REVIEW
