Pros: Easy to install. Quiet. Works as intended.
Other Thoughts: Great drive. I picked this drive up to replace a dead hd in an older Dell system. Installation was as painless as could be. All the mounting holes in the drive lined up perfectly with the drive case. The jumpers were set to cable select, which is what my old drive had as been set to.
4 screws a power and data hookup and the drive was ready for the os installation. Works great with quick access to data. Bios recognized the drive immediately and set up the capacity properly.
Great price and service by Newegg. Do not hesitate if you need to replace a drive, or add a 2nd one.
Pros: Excellent Printer Hardware
Scans Quickly With Good Quaiity
Cons: HP Software is limited in functionality
Other Thoughts: Many buy this particular AIO for it's ability to print ddirectly on CDs and DVDs. It does this very well, but the supplied software from HP is very limited in it's design options.
There are at least two other alternatives that work well with this printer. They are:
Acustica CD/DVD Labeler and
Surething CD/DVD Labeler
Both products are shareware and have trial periods. Cost for both is reasonable if you decide to buy - about $25.
I can verify that both these programs print flawlessly with this printer, and give you the ability to add much more to the design than the HP software provided.
