Great Card

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 750 Ti 4GB WINDFORCE 2X OC EDITION GV-N75TWF2OC-4GI
GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 750 Ti 4GB WINDFORCE 2X OC EDITION GV-N75TWF2OC-4GI

Pros: Plays Fallout 4, full res, no problems. Has TWO HDMI ports

Cons: I would complain about being bulky, but that's stardard. It's still bulky but I actually got this one when the card before wouldn't even fit. What would a con be? It works, and has been working for months.

Overall Review: Plays Fallout 4, full res, no problems.

Most Critical Review

Very sub-par instructions

AMD FX-8150 - FX-Series Zambezi 8-Core 3.6GHz (3.9GHz/4.2GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W Desktop Processor with Liquid Cooling Kit - FD8150FRGUWOX
AMD FX-8150 - FX-Series Zambezi 8-Core 3.6GHz (3.9GHz/4.2GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W Desktop Processor with Liquid Cooling Kit - FD8150FRGUWOX

Pros: The product itself is nice. Seems to keep cool thus far. Has a nice light on the heat sink to let you know it's powered up. Software that comes with it works nice too.

Cons: Bad instructions. Has pictures that are incomplete, and does not have written instructions for installation. I think they assume you have installed one of these before.

Overall Review: The product itself is good, and I would order it again. However, if you have never installed one before you may find yourself going to YouTube to see if you can get some idea of how it should go together. The clips in particular are not clear on how they should work. They can be installed wrong and then you have the pull them off again. I also found the instructions to actually be wrong regarding the preparation of the mount. It doesn't tell you to remove the existing heat sink mount, which much be done first in order to install.

Very disappointing

ASUS Laptop Intel Core i7-3630QM 16GB Memory 750GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670MX 17.3" G75VX-TS72

Pros: It plays games and such...

Cons: The BIOS related to installing a 2nd HD in the extra bay it has, is a joke. Even ASUS wasn't able to figure it out. They even warranty replaced it because they couldn't figure out why the 2nd bay wouldn't be bootable and the next one did the exact same thing. I had a problem with the screen getting a dead line of pixels without the first several months of owning it. I did get this repaired under warranty, after a long battle with the 3rd party I purchased the warranty under. That isn't so much ASUS' fault other than the fact, it is their laptop, and without any action of my own their laptop developed an entire line of dead pixels for no apparent reason.

Overall Review: I avoid ASUS RoG laptops now. Their customer service answers, but the actual BIOS hardward upgrading seems very difficult or even impossible. Comes with no CD media for restoration purposes. I much prefer HP laptops, and they actually come with CD Media for restoration purposes.

Work Great

TRUE IMAGE HECE285A Black Toner Replaces HP 85A CE285A, Single Pack, Page Yield 10,000

Pros: They work great out of the box. I have used several of these no problem.

Cons: None. You get a great toner cartridge without having to pay the ridiculous amounts some companies think they are wroth.

Overall Review: I print multiple times per day, almost daily. I have never had an issue with the toner. I have used two or three of these and they work great. Don't pay more. Get one.

Amazing Laptop

HP EliteBook 840 G1 Ultrabook - Intel Core i5 4GB Memory 180GB SSD 14" Ultrabook Windows 7 with 3yr Warranty- (E3W30UT#ABA)
HP EliteBook 840 G1 Ultrabook - Intel Core i5 4GB Memory 180GB SSD 14" Ultrabook Windows 7 with 3yr Warranty- (E3W30UT#ABA)

Pros: This thing has an incredible battery life. Able to do lots of gaming, though this is not a "gaming laptop". Probably won't handle the new high-end games, but I have played S.T.A.L.K.E.R Clear Sky, on Medium res settings... no problem. I have also played F.E.A.R. 2, on higher res no problem. Look into the video card specs yourself to determine if it's good for you. I played for about 2 hours and still had 20% remaining. I bumped my power settings to power saver mode to achieve this (not hard... just select from your power icon by the clock or control panel in windows settings). It has a really nice fingerprint scan security. You can bypass it and use the password at any time instead, but it's a nice quick entry option for security instead of the password. The back-lit keyboard. Upgrading memory is really easy (I did -- went from 4gb to 8gb). Comes with CD Media to fully restore to factory, even though it doesn't have a CD ROM (you will need an external CD ROM to do this, which I have). Has integrated system restore partition, so you can do a system restore without the disks (assuming no hard drive failure, of course). On that note, using the disks does a truly factory restore, while using the integrated restore does not actually reinstall all the security features. I know, because Windows became corrupt and I already had to do this. I reinstalled from the system first, and noticed I was missing a few extras (extras I liked). So I reinstalled from the discs, and the finger scan security was and everything was setup truly factory. The integrated restore really just re-installs Windows, and all necessary drivers. So still a complete and function reinstall of the OS. Very thin, and lightweight.

Cons: The back-lit keyboard is really great for working in the dark. Perhaps I should list this in the cons, and may I will, but the only thing I don't like is it only lights up when you press a key... for about 3 seconds (and continues to stay lit as you continue to press keys). I wish there was a setting to leave the back lighting on. If there is, I have not found that setting.

Overall Review: I build computers. I have since very young, and have always been a desktop person. Over the years of a growing family, laptops have become more practical for us and I am very technical in general. This laptop is very good for the money (but I only paid $500 on a black Friday deal from Newegg). I like this one so much, I purchased another one when for my in-laws when they were looking to upgrade from their desktop. Make sure you are aware this DOES NOT HAVE A CD ROM. If you need a CD ROM, you need to use an external USB CD ROM drive.

Crazy fast shipping.

HomCom Deluxe Rolling Portable / Foldable Laptop Desk
HomCom Deluxe Rolling Portable / Foldable Laptop Desk

Pros: It is sturdy and can hold my heavy 17.3 inch laptop no trouble. LIght, easy assembly. Cheap.

Cons: The top of the table is not flat. For some reason they decided to indent an inner rectangle on the top of the table where you place the laptop. It's not very handy for running a mouse, I must say. Also, it doesn't lock up. Asside from gravity, there is nothing keeping the table in the open position. That means if anyone or anything causes the table to lift up while in the raise position... it will then go to the folded down closed position, along with anything you had on the table will go down onto the ground. This hasn't happened to me, and hopefully won't. But, I have to be mindful and make sure to keep my toddler away from it so he doesn't mess with it. Since it doesn't lock into the up position, it could easily be messed with and the table will drop along with its contents. I'm sure it could be rigged to be locked, but then it would have to be unrigged to unlock.

Overall Review: For the money, this is a nice laptop station.
