Pros: If you have a cool case, you probably have USB 3.0 ports up front. If you add in a USB 3.0 card reader you may discover your motherboard is shy a 20 pin header. This uses a PCI Express card slot and a power connector and gives you back your front panel USB 3.0 ports by giving you a second 20 pin USB 3.0 header.
Cons: Ships from Hong Kong.
Other Thoughts: This is the way to get more USB 3.0 connections available for your front panel. Also gives two more USB 3.0 ports to the back.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm
Pros: This system is virtually painless to install. Enables you to build a very, very quiet PC. After a year with no problems -- I consider it solidly reliable -- keeps the cores very cool.
Cons: They don't give it away for free.
Other Thoughts: A couple of install suggestions:
1) Install backplate before installing motherboard into case -- even on quality cases you may be blocked if you wait until after mb is in the case.
2) I installed radiator at top of case with fans blowing out --
a) heat rises -- why fight that -- aids overall system cooling.
b) if someone carelessly lays a sheet of paper on top of the PC, the fans will blow it off. (people do crazy things)
Pros: 8 Sata 6gb connectors
nice stand-off connectors attaching all the case odds and ends (reset, power, hdd light etc)
Super BIOS management suite -- It's a joy to use and easy to understand with a fanspeed control utility built-in
Support overclocking nicely
Cons: Not a "bargain" board, but, you definitely get what you pay for.READ FULL REVIEW
