This review is from: SanDisk Cruzer 32GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable) Model SDCZ36-032G-A11
Pros: I had none of the speed problems bemoaned by some of the other review writers. Of course, I knew enough to dump the U3 garbage and format the Cruzer as NTFS. To do the latter in Windows XP/Vista/7, connect the Cruzer to a USB port, open the Device Manager, open the "Disk Drives" folder, right-click on the SanDisk USB Drive entry, click on Properties, click on the Policies tab, and set the drive to "Optimize for best performance". After that's done, the NTFS option shows up when you format the drive in Windows Explorer. Having done this I can copy a 20GB file to the Cruzer in about 10 minutes max. Works like a charm.
Cons: Sandisk could have made it a little easier to do what I described in the Pros section by including documentation to that effect - that is, how to dump the U3 nonsense and format the Cruzer for NTFS. "Otherwise you may experience performance problems." Right.
