This review is from: GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD5 R5 (rev. 1.0) AM3+ AMD 990FX 6 x SATA 6Gb/s connectors (SATA3 0~SATA3 5), by South Bridge 2 x SATA 6Gb/s connectors (GSATA3 6/7), by 2 x Marvell 88SE9172 chips USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: This is a solid board with good features. It is easy to setup and works well. The layout looks pleasing to the eye as well.
Cons: The 16x PCIe slots are TOO CLOSE TOGETHER. The bigger video cards (mine are 290X Sapphire oversized) cannot go in the 2 PCIe 16x slots together. I have to run one of them in either the 8x or 4x slots (not recommended in the manual). Why Gigabyte? I have made it a point to buy Gigabyte whenever I do a build. I wish they had thought this one through a little better. For shame!!! ;-)READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: It's pretty. That's for sure. It is a solid power supply and runs my 2 Radeon 290X in Crossfire just fine. It's quiet. I would highly recommend this PSU to any gamer/enthusiast.
Cons: It's expensive. Also (not really a bad thing), what's with the carry case? Who is walking around with a PSU in their backpack. Anyway, it's expensive.READ FULL REVIEW
