Pros: Nice inexpensive 8gb RAM. Mushkin is a trusted brand. Once this RAM gets setup properly it works great! Got a 7.7 on the Windows Experience Index if anyone is wondering. Set it to 1600mhz in bios and set the voltage to either Auto or 1.35v and you will be good.
Cons: Doesn't OC very well, but then again the Mushkin Essentials line is not meant for that. If given more than 1.35v it slows down a little.
Other Thoughts: The OC'ing issue is really a non issue. If you are buying RAM to OC than go with a higher end line than Essentials. But if you just want RAM that works and works well you can't go wrong with this! I only gave it 4 stars due to the fact that it took a little time to get it setup properly; Timing, voltage, speed. But this could have very well been my MB as well.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Good price. Mushkin is a trusted brand. Fairly quick read/write speeds.
Cons: It is definitely a class 10 card, but my Transcend 8gb class 10 is faster. Thought for sure the Mushkin would kill it but I was wrong. My Class 4 Sandisk is actually just as fast as both, imagine that!
Other Thoughts: Not a bad card. Definitely not a Sandisk, but what is? You get what you pay for and Mushkin is a trusted name. Buy it and use it with confidence that your data is safe.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This is a good card with good performance. I would recommend it for part time gamers or anyone that wants to run up to 3 monitors at a time.
I gave this card only 4 stars out of 5 because XFX's site states that this card will in fact run up to 4 monitors at a time, which it will not do. That is verified from attempting it AND XFX's tech support. I have strongly recommended to XFX that they change that info on their site because the fact that this card could run 4 at a time is the main reason I chose this card over numerous other options.
Cons: Can only run 3 monitors at any given time and NOT the 4 at a time that XFX states on their website.
Other Thoughts: Reiterate that this is a great card for those that dont need extreme gaming performance and want to run up to 3 monitors at a time.READ FULL REVIEW
