This review is from: BYTECC SATA Adapter SATA to IDE Converter For Drive
Pros: it was only 3.99
Cons: cant get them to work i tried to put them on the ide port on the motherboard and bio and windows wont pick it up tried to put it on an ide hard drive and a cd-rom and neither worked i like to think of myself as computer literate and and educated since i have a degree in pc science but these things baffle me they should send out instruction and they should package them better instead of just some plastic container without a static charge bag.
Other Thoughts: maybe the ones i got were junk but they were only 3.99 now i see the price has jumped to 10.99 for that price i think i would just buy a pci exp card and call it a day hope this review helps someoneREAD FULL REVIEW

This review is from: Mustek ScanExpress H610 Portable Hand-held Scanner
Pros: a nice light weight and portable scanner, nice scan quality, comes with a caring bag just an over all nice scanner for the price, bought it for $95.00 could of gotten it cheaper on another site but i like newegg.
Cons: doesn't come with an sd card luckily i had a 2 gig laying around from an old phone and it worked, battery's do only last for 400 pages if your only scanning with the lower settings like black and white and 300 dpi kick those up to color and 600 dpi you might get about 200-250 pages scanned depends on how fast you scan, the battery's that come with it are not rechargeable and are some generic brand that was not fully charged when i got the scanner witch is standard with most electronic that come with battery's.
Other Thoughts: if your going to use this a lot i would buy a 4 pack of AAA ni-mh battery's and a fast recharger so the power issues wont be a problem also buy an sd card and if you don't have, also when it is plug into the computer, it drains the batterys so if you dont have a card reader might be time to get one.READ FULL REVIEW
