ASRock 4CoreDual-SATA2 R2.0 LGA 775 VIA PT880 Pro/PT880 Ultra ATX Intel Motherboard
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Works well as a cross-over board. It lets you slowly upgrade your computer and you can use new technology with soem of yoru old parts.

Cons: I suppose if I have to say something I would say that it would hav ebeen nice if the PCI-Express slot actually ran at 16x, but that doesnt affect me cause I am still using AGP.

Other Thoughts: If you want to keep using your AGP card and your old RAM then this board is good for you.

Intel Pentium E2160 Allendale Dual-Core 1.8GHz LGA 775 65W Processor BX80557E2160
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Works great as an upgrade from my aging Pentium 4 processor. Even at stock speed it is able to multi-task better than I could have imagined.

Cons: My motherboard wont allow me to overclock it past 2.6 Ghz.

Other Thoughts: Works great to introduce people to Dual-Core Technology and it will serve as an inexpensive upgrade until quad-cores come down in price.
