This review is from: J-Bar Rack HD Kayak Carrier Canoe Boat Surf Ski Roof Top Mount Car SUV Crossbar
Pros: The typical design is good. I have a pair of Thule's - same design. Love them
Cons: The quality is poor. The mounts don't work on my Xterra (and won't work on the Frontier either. There isn't enough distance on the threads. Also the mounting plates are very weak and I can't imagine holding my 40 lb kayak on these let alone in wind or on the highway. I simply can't trust it. I won't even give these away because I don't want to be behind someone using these on the highway.
Other Thoughts: Again, I have a set of Thule's for 5 yrs + and they are amazing.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Dual band with options to set up guest networks on both channels.
Very easy to use interface. I have a USB printer and shared 2T hard drive.
Cons: be sure to get the updated firmware. Make sure your sharing settings are protecting you from sharing to the WAN!!! yes, make sure you don't have your USB drive or computers shared with the great beyond. Its possible on this beast.
Other Thoughts: I am more than confident in this router. I bought this Feb 2013 - an early adopter and I have had no trouble. It has not dropped signals and it has been rock solid after power outages etc. This is built very well.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: This board is versatile handling my old AMD Phenom X4 and able to handle my CPU upgrade coming soon. It held my old Vid card and memory. I've now upgraded these on this board and - yes, rock solid.
I've installed various SSD's with different controllers - all no problems. I'm running Win 7pro 64. The Bios is easy to work with - overclocking etc.
Other Thoughts: I did my research on this board and Asus boards. Both are excellent but this one stood out for the best features for the $. I've beat it up and it is rock solid for several months now.READ FULL REVIEW
