This review is from: Nippon Labs HDB-250 2.5" HDD/SS Metal Bracket Black Color
Pros: it came with screws and it works right
Cons: there is a slightly nicer one i saw by the same company with more heatsink holes and a few other better options i saw later all for the same price. doesnt matter much.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: -it has a sleek design
-its about as fast as the corsair force I have in my other pc.
-I got it on sale for $98 i think.
-came with software
Cons: -somewhat small drive, and you have to cut your data to less than 100gb to use the migration software
-no adapter tray for towers
-no sata cable
-migration software was way out of date, have to update it before it will let you transfer an installation from a bigger drive. it worked after that though although i still had to trim back my data more than i planned
-samsung magician software does not recognize the drive even after update. its not crucial for use but it seems like it has some boosting functions and performance tweaks, but i cant use them due to bad software i guess? : (
Other Thoughts: I was kinda mad that i had to buy an adapter tray. considering this is the pro series i thought it would just come with everything since the price tag is so high. instead it only comes with the disk and a software cd
its not a bad drive really but ill be buying the corsair force drives from now on. I had less issues with them
This review is from: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes
Pros: It came with everything you need and its well made, fits in my 190mm wide case with little room to spare, did not interfere with ram (no heatsinks tho) VERY quiet. stock cooler was loud enough to hear in next room, now i cant tell if its running or not.
overclocking phenom ii x4 965 at 3.8 and it only gets up to 50-51c under load 40-41c idle.
Cons: instructions are not very in depth. you need to adjust the screw placement on the bracket depending on what setup you have. if the screws don't line up perfect you probably need to move them, but the manual only shows a small picture to explain this. maybe its just scary working on the CPU but i didn't like how it mounted, one flat x shaped bracket just holding it against the cpu. its probably fine just seems very minimal. also if youve never applied heatsink paste you proably want to look up a guide. x shaped dabs is what i recommend/used.
Other Thoughts: great purchase, got a 10 dollar rebate. Try to get it for 20 dollars like me I suggest.READ FULL REVIEW
