Pros: Fantastic price for this level of speaker. Crisp, clear & booming at high volume.
Cons: Flimsy front covers. One, at the upper right corner keeps popping out of its mount. Appear to be discontinued by Klipsch -- not listed on their site as a current product.
Overall Review: DISCLAIMER -- I am NOT a high level audiophile, just a guy who wants quality sound out of my receiver, which is connected to a Samsung 4K TV, my computer, and a BD player...I started with the bookshelf Icons, to replace my old Sony rear surrounds, and was shocked at the difference in the audio quality. I then ordered up these to replace my Sony front towers, and was even more impressed...a week later, I couldn't resist replacing my JBL center channel with an Icon. I now have a K-100SW on order to replace a Sony sub & complete the set. Sony STR-DN1070 receiver/amp and restored 'Projected Sound' drive-in theater speakers loaded with VISATON FR-10s as mid-surrounds...
Great Case Overall, but...
Pros: - Preinstalled stand-offs for a ATX board, saved time figuring out & mounting. - Lots of hardware/mounts for nearly any configuration.
Cons: - No filter on front panel fan screen. - Arrived with broken front fan screen 'snap' fastener.
Overall Review: Hefty & solid. Plenty of HDD/SSD mounts, plus a air diverter - all of which went to recycling, as I use three M.2 drives. This was a case and power supply refresh - existing units were pretty sick, as I'm a smoker and stuff was going on three years old. Fit my EVGA water cooler (top mounted) and Asus ROG Strix Z370-E board just fine, although a bit tight. Not fond of the white, two inch HDD LED, which distracts & reminds me of Morse Code being tapped out. I used two Phanteks D-RGB 140 fans up front and hooked them into the RGB header on my MOBO - beautiful...until they start collecting dust, I'm sure.
Easy install, however...
Pros: I'm not a RGB lighting 'fan' but the LED TEMP option is nice - visible indicator of running 'hot' (and not yet).
Cons: Backplate install advisements in instructions.
Overall Review: Running a i7 9700K (3.6) @ 4.57Ghz - 29 degrees C @ idle and peaking at 47 - 53 under moderate load, in a 70 degree (F) room. Haven't tried any gaming yet. Extremely well packaged, ensuring a sound product upon delivery. The ASUS software is OK - more information on fan control would be nice, as my fans have yet to kick on, but at 26.9C coolant temp, I suppose that's by design. The backplate seemed a sloppy fit on my Asus ROG Strix Z390E board - after hand screwing the standoffs in, it wobbled loosely. Not REALLY a con, I guess, as everything snugged up when I installed the heatsink/pump assembly, but it did concern me during the put-together.
Oops, have to wait a bit longer...
Pros: Nice price. Great reviews.
Cons: No migration cable?
Overall Review: I assumed since migration software was included, so was a cable. I assumed incorrectly. Now will wait for a SATA-to-USB cable to be delivered. Looking at the back of the install guide, Samsung offers the 840 EVO (this one), the 840 for Laptop Upgrade (which I thought I was getting), and 840 for Desktop upgrade. Oh well...sit & wait.
Stylish, but...
Pros: Cool design overall. Front LEDs look like 'burning coals in Hades'.
Cons: Top mounted 'front panel' connectors. Ridiculously tiny print on the instruction sheet -- look it up on-line for a readable PDF. Side 200mm fan was nearly DOA, moving back-and-forth a quarter inch -- I removed the assembly and hammered the axle back in to make it useable -- silent for now...
Overall Review: A handle atop would have been nice, like my now deceased Cooler-Master case, so I could rip it out of position (next to my HDTV) to replace components...
