Cons: Poor performance, no after-sales support. It's advertised as being firmware upgradeable thru the USB port but it's basically a lie. Once you start using it you'll start having stuttering issues; when you go to their support forums to look for help and upgrades they'll tell you no upgrades are available or ever will be available.
Other Thoughts: NewEgg should drop these products, they're unfit for use.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Foxconn 6150K8MA-8EKRS 939 NVIDIA GeForce 6150 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: Has everything for a home user / non-gamer.
Cons: None I can think of.
Other Thoughts: I bought this for a friend to replace a dead system, along with an AMD64 3400+. It's working great, and swapping was easy. It seems so good I've bought another one for another friend.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: AMD Opteron 185 Denmark Dual-Core 2.6 GHz Socket 939 110W OSA185CDBOX Processor
Pros: Speed, of course.
Cons: May not be fully supported by your BIOS. Without Cool'n'Quiet, it idled at 49C in my system. After hacking a bit to enable C'n'Q, it now idles at 34C. It was a fair bit of trouble to figure that out.
Other Thoughts: This replaced an X2 3800+ on an Asus A8V-Deluxe. The latest BIOS doesn't support Cool'n'Quiet for this Opteron, so I had to hack my ACPI DSDT to add it in. Most likely there would be no problem with an Opteron 180 or lower, but the 185 was just too new and S939 boards aren't getting updates any more. Asus didn't reply at all to my support request regarding a newer BIOS.READ FULL REVIEW
