Pros: Water Shield Glossy Finish
Doesn't darken the label you print like others tend to do
Extremely nice finish after printing to
No noticeable print bleed
Cons: None that I have noticed.
Other Thoughts: I normally buy TY's as the typically make the best media but decided to give these a try since the price was so good and I have to say so far they seem to be just as good as TY's and maybe a bit better with print-ability. I had non glossy/water proof of this manufactures several years ago and they didn't last long before needing to toss them out so let's hope these work better, so far so good.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: 1) Very nice display.
2) Aesthetically appealing.
3) Small for a telephoto with good optical zoom.
4) Flash features are rich for a snap-shot.
5) easy to hold on to.
6) Good resolution and video feature works well.
7) Plenty of scene operation modes for a novice to get the picture they want in most situations.
Cons: I needed to shoot through a patio screen and it kept AF'n to the screen putting my subject out of focus. I was able to play with the scene filters to try and eliminate the AF issue but still would end up with a somewhat blurred photo. If I could have turned off the AF easily I could of taken a good picture, however I didn't see a work around. Now this is not uncommon with snap-shots and I'm use to using a professional SLR/DSLR camera. Also when in full telephoto mode I also had fuzzy pictures.
Other Thoughts: Even though Nikon use to be the best camera, not any longer, I expected more from this camera especially for it megapixel rating. Although I rated only 3 stars it doesn't mean it's a bad camera particularly for a novas user.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Premiertek PL-18N USB 2.0 GAMEBASE Adapter 2X9DBI ANTENNA - Retail
Pros: Truly picks up distant routers/hot-spots that you wouldn't even see with a normal WiFi nic. And what is nice about a 9 foot USB cable is it extends the location of you transceiver without signal loss you would see if it was the RF cable extended.
Also if I was only getting 1-2 bars and not steady, with dropouts, this adapter would get 4-5 bars without dropouts. I streamed Netflix using this adapter flawlessly were as with my internal WiFi if would pause all the time. If you're a gamer it also does a great job just like the streaming of movies.
Cons: The only con I had with this adapter is that when I got it I couldn't screw in the antennas as the internal board pop off it's snap standoffs. It was very easy to remedy but when removing the base plate screw most of them were slightly stripped and one was totally stripped but I did get the plate off and snapped the internal board back into place. I obviously didn't put the one bad screw back in. It wasn't worth screwing around to replace it and was an easy fix really.
Other Thoughts: I used this at my Condo in Fort Myers and found that it saw routers that my laptop didn't see but it also didn't see some of the routers that my laptop could see which isn't unusual really.
*Some people have complained about the size but in reality "it is what it is". This is no larger then what 9dbi antennas should be with a WiFi adapter in it.
