This review is from: Yamaha Aventage RX-A1020 7.2 Channel AV Receiver
Pros: Being able to control with your smart phone Apple or Android is great. This receiver is powerful it blew my woofer when I was playing the 1812 overture. Great sound and network connectivity.
Cons: This model has been replaced by the RX-A1030 which has a improved DAC. It is the same price so get the new one.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I needed a small foot print case to use as an FTP server. After reading reviews on this case, I ordered and installed a Gigabyte GA-MA78GPM-UD2H MB with an AMD 5050 e CPU. Every thing fit well and with 2 WD 1 tb drives installed the temp is no more than 32 C. Extremely quite using stock AMD fan.
Cons: Wiring is tight and I am not using a video card. Used wire ties to secure wires as tight as I could get them.
No documentation 4 pin connector from power supply instead of 8. Still works but would have been better if there was documentation.
Other Thoughts: This case looks great and when assembled it is solid.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: CPU is fast and runs cool with stock fan. The fan is silent and temp has been between 29 and 32 C. Installed in Gigabyte GA-MA78GPM-UD2H motherboard. Highly recommend for a low power low heat producing system.
I definitely recommend and will buy again.
Cons: I called both AMD and Gigabyte when I could not get my system to boot. Gigabyte stated they do not support this processor and AMD stated that it is possible that current bios might not support this processor. The processor was not the problem.
Other Thoughts: Fortunately for me another reviewer of the Gigabyte MB mentioned the need for an 8 pin power cable necessary for the MB to boot. Put the CPU back in and it worked perfectly.READ FULL REVIEW
