Dowinx Gaming Chair | Ergonomic Racing Style Recliner with Massage Lumbar Support | Office Armchair for Computer | PU Leather | E-Sports Gamer Chairs | Retractable Footrest | Black & Blue

Overall Review: Amazing customer service. I had an issue with the chair, and posted a negative review. The manufacturer saw my review and determined that they were not satisfied with my issues. Dowinx reached out to me, daily, over the course of several days in order to solve the issue. Once they determined the issue, they immediately took care of it. I must say, I've never had a company be so accommodating. The chair is quite comfortable. I'm a larger guy, and I do not feel crowded at all while sitting in it. The colors are great and it was very easy to put together. I love the reclining function, I can put the chairback in whatever position I want; I doubt I would ever sleep in this chair, but I have the option to do so. I would recommend getting the chair, just for the customer service alone. But the chair is quite nice, and I would recommend it to someone who sits for hours at a time.

A crime against humanity

Microsoft Windows 8 Professional Upgrade
Microsoft Windows 8 Professional Upgrade

Pros: It comes in a pretty box.

Cons: I've had many different operating systems, but this one simply doesn't want the user to do anything at all. I had to install Windows8 five times in a week in order to make it work properly, every install had something different wrong with it. You can't find anything you need. Installed programs don't show up under "Installed Apps", like windows tells you they will. Even win8 lovers tell you that you have to use the search function to find programs you need. Every day I open windows, there is some function I need to manually start (network card for instance). When Windows8 decides you need to install an update, it makes your system unusable, so that you will stop what you are doing and install it. More and more devices and services I am finding are incompatible with Windows8. Why get rid of everything that works, and add so many useless things that aren't necessary on a PC!? Win8 lovers point out all of the apps on the start screen, like weather, sports, facebook, news, finances... that are great things to look at; but all of those things are bookmarks on my browser that give me far more information than some dumb little app that is sucking up my system resources. And Internet Explorer 11 is just garbage... there is no positive to it at all... no service works with it, it crashes, doesn't support much, and the address bar is on the bottom... why on the bottom!?

Overall Review: If you decide you must go with Windows 8, I highly recommend Classic Start 8, it gives you a real start menu, so you can find what you need. But if you are smart, you will pay the little bit extra and get Windows7.

BEEEEAST

Cooler Master HAF 922 - High Air Flow Mid Tower Computer Case with USB 3.0 and All-Black Interior
Cooler Master HAF 922 - High Air Flow Mid Tower Computer Case with USB 3.0 and All-Black Interior

Pros: When i received this monster in the mail, I was shocked at how huge it was. But I needed it for all the good stuff that was to go in it. I put in a CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo cooler on my processor, I probably would not have fit that in most cases. This case makes it extremely easy to run cables and wires behind the motherboard, to allow for better air flow. All the wires for the front panel ports are bundles and labeled, which makes for a very quick and easy set up.

Cons: Not easy to pick up, not real hand holds. The power button is on top, and sometimes when I set down my headset, I hit the button and turn it off. The front panel USB3.0 cable kept falling out during set up, not sure if a cable issue or a motherboard issue.

Overall Review: I saw some complaints about the red LED on the front... nah, it's dim. No complaints from me. If you don't like it, hit the off button on the top. I like it and installed a side case fan with a red LED to compliment it.

ASRock 970 Extreme4 AM3+/AM3 AMD 970 + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
ASRock 970 Extreme4 AM3+/AM3 AMD 970 + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Pros: There are so many great options with this board! The mouse interface bios is amazing and so easy to use and modify. All of the power ports are easily accessible and there are more than I could even need to use. Bios is incredibly easy to flash; throw the file on a flash drive, click "flash bios", BAM, DONE. I've never really cared about a motherboard's features until this one, now I am stuck on ASRock.

Cons: My video card rests right on the SATA ports, makes me nervous, but no problems. The USB3 front port kept falling out on me, not sure if a mobo problem or a cable problem.

Amazing product

Targus APB27US 4800mAh External Battery Power Bank for Smartphones, Tablets, and other USB Mobile Devices
Targus APB27US 4800mAh External Battery Power Bank for Smartphones, Tablets, and other USB Mobile Devices

Pros: I bought this on a whim during a NewEgg flash sales. Looking at the actual price, I got an amazing deal. This thing charges very quickly, shows you (via lcd lights) what it's current charge is, and charges my Galaxy s3 extremely quick. I haven't really put it through it's paces yet, but with the limited use I've had with it, I am thoroughly impressed

Cons: As a real stretch, it's a bit bulky and can't really be carried in you pocket... but why would you do that on a regular basis?

Overall Review: My first use, I purposefully let my phone's charge drop to 50%. I put on this charger and walked away to take care of something for less than ten minutes. When I came back it was at 98% charge. I figured a device like this would charge very slowly, not the case.

Simply amazing

HIS IceQ X² Turbo Boost Clock Radeon R9 270X 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card H270XQMT2G2
HIS IceQ X² Turbo Boost Clock Radeon R9 270X 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card H270XQMT2G2

Pros: Has taken anything I have thrown at it so far without any issues. Battlefield 4 on Ultra with 2x AntiAlliasing at around 55fps. So glad I went with this card, instead of the 280x, which was $100 more.

Cons: The dual fan power connectors are at an awkward angle for the power cables... hardly an issue once they are connected. The card rests on the SATA ports of the motherboard, kind of makes me uncomfortable, but everything works.

Overall Review: I had a monitor issue while setting up the new rig, so to troubleshoot, I decided I would throw this card into my (very) old computer and see if the monitor got signal. The couldn't even fit the card into the case of the other computer. Not a pro or con... just hillarious.
