This review is from: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan
Pros: Cools well
Cons: Large, possibly might not fit in some cases especially if the case is narrow
installation can be somewhat difficult
Other Thoughts: I installed this while my setup was already in my case. If you install the cooler on the motherboard before installing the motherboard into the case it would be a lot easier, but since this was an upgrade for me I wasn't pulling everything out just to install the cooler. I got it done, but I did drop one of the screws and had to fish for it in my case.
This cooler dropped the temps on my I5 3570k by 40c over the stock cooler. I was running 4ghz on the stock cooler, hitting 90+c on a stress test. Only hit 50c on this cooler. I was able to bump my overclock to a whopping 4.8ghz and still only be in the upper 80's at 100% load, simply amazing for a $30 cooler. I'm quite happy with this purchase.
This review is from: Blackmagicdesign Intensity Pro HDMI and Analog Editing Card - Retail
Pros: Nothing for me. Triple checked and researched for hours to make sure I hooked it up right.
Cons: I bought this instead of the Avermedia Live Gamer HD because it has analog support. Right now I have old video equipment, IE a 640x480 camera and using S video for the input. I eventually want to get new equipment, but I had to build the new PC first and be able to capture video for now.
I could never get this to work with the composite input, so I simply cannot comment on it's digital capabilities. Once I get all my equipment updated I will likely switch back to this card and see what it can really do. I want to eventually be doing full 1080p, which is why I bought this card in the first place.
Other Thoughts: I picked up the Avermedia C027 in the mean time, I had it completely set up and recording within 20 minutes. Highly recommend that card for analog inputs, SUPER easy to work with.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: P3 Kill A Watt Electricity Load Meter and Monitor
Pros: Works as it should, very simple operation.
Cons: The only thing I can think of is when plugged into a wall socket you take your 2 outlets down to just 1. But I just have the power strip plugged into that so it's not really a problem.
Other Thoughts: Bought this to figure out how much electric I'm using while crytocurrency mining.READ FULL REVIEW
