This review is from: NETIS WF2412 Wireless N150 Mini Size AP Router/Repeater
Pros: Simple and fast web configuration.
Works as advertised.
Unbelievably low price.
Cons: I have to list cons, so these are some potential cons although in my case they are very insignificant.
1. Limited mounting options. Basically, it's just going to stand up.
2. Can slide around easily since there aren't rubber feet on the bottom and it's pretty light.
Other Thoughts: Set these up as wireless bridges for some industrial equipment in a factory. They are connecting through a Cisco managed WIFI network and managed switched network and all without issues. They work great and only took a few minutes to get things going on them. I'm almost surprised at how well they work and how quickly I was able to get it all going.
I only used the web-based config, did not have to load any software.
Pros: Inexpensive and does exactly what it says. Securely mounts a 2.5" drive in a 3.5" drive bay. Drive snaps into enclosure and enclosure mounts as a 3.5" drive would. SATAIII not a problem. Have only ever used it to mount OCZ SSD drives and fitment is perfect.
Other Thoughts: I've purchased several of these for different PCs and never had an issue at all. Never had to use the screws it comes with either as the 2.5" drive snaps into place in the tray. I recommend this to anyone.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Novell SUSE LINUX 10.1 STRONG ENCRYPTION 128 BIT ENG
Pros: Performance, ease of use, ease of installation, well thought out GUI, compatible with all M$ Office file formats, save to PDF, burn DVDs, includes your favorite browser (Firefox), automatically configured and used everything from the graphics card to the wireless network built-in (IBM Thinkpad R51 2883-ARU) and runs very fast and stable. Linux newbies should have no trouble. Boot the CD/DVD and you're off..
Cons: Wish there was better OpenGL/DirectX game support. This is not really a fault of the OS but more of game developers (or the relatively small but growing user base).
Other Thoughts: I'm glad someone is really putting 2 and 2 together with alternative OSes and this is my personal favorite so far. I would switch for good and never look back if I could use it as a gaming system but for now I have to have XP for gaming.READ FULL REVIEW
