This review is from: LIAN LI PC-K65 Black Aluminum / Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: This is a beautiful case and a pleasure to work in. Well thought out design.
Cons: The power on button on top of case stopped working after six months of infrequent use. If the power switch leads on the mother board are shorted the computer starts normally.
Other Thoughts: I sent an RMA request to Lian Li. We'll see how they handle it since it is still under warranty. I own and have built numerous PCs with Lian Li cases and this is the first problem I have encountered.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: HighPoint RocketRAID 2300 PCI Express SATA II (3.0Gb/s) Controller Card
Pros: Cheap RAID
Cons: When mounted in the case there is about 0.20" of open space between the rear of the case and the bracket. Other expansion boards in my fit fine so it's the RocketRAID card. This tells me the mounting bracket was installed cockeyed on the controller board. The board works so I'll forgo returning it. But I still expect better so it gets two eggs. If the board lasts I'll bump it up to three eggs.
Other Thoughts: Update the controller's BIOS prior to connecting the hard drives.
If you use a USB keyboard or mouse remember to enable legacy keyboard and mouse support in your motherboard's BIOS so you can access the controller's BIOS.
Pros: Relatively inexpensive. Works with 64-bit Windows 7.
