This review is from: RAZER DeathAdder Black Wired Optical Precision Gaming Mouse - 3.5G Infrared Sensor
Pros: My current DeathAdder is probably the best mouse I have ever owned.
It LOOKS like the same Razer DeathAdder 3.5G Infrared Sensor I bought a few years ago. But that's about it.
If you do happen to purchase a DeathAdder, I'd highly recommend playing very close attention to how the mouse tracks when making very small and price movements on the screen.
Cons: It doesn't perform the same as the current one that I've got. The labeling and model number on the bottom of the mouse are identical, though the layout of the label is slightly different.
Physical things I noticed that prompted me to return this mouse:
1. When I plugged in the mouse, immediately the sensitivity was significantly higher than the current DeathAdder I had plugged in.
2. Physically, the force required to exert left and right clicks were higher, and ultimately the buttons proved more difficult to click. It's possible I could get used to this, but it was noticeable.
3. The side buttons were nearly flush to the side of the mouse, making them more difficult to use. The buttons protrude on my current DeathAdder.
4. The tracking was the most significant issue. This mouse seemed to have tracking problems with small movements, where occasionally the movements would be dropped. While in-game in Diablo 3, I had difficulties with looting drops because the mouse seldomly dropped small movements. My current DeathAdder does not have this problem (it double-clicks because the microswitch is going bad... which is why I purchased the new one).
I don't know what they may have changed, but it's just not the same mouse. I did receive the item from China with Chinese packaging/labeling -- perhaps that might be related to the quality issues I encountered above?
Other Thoughts: It's possible someone who has never used the DeathAdder before may not recognize the issues that I encountered. However, expecting the exact same mouse model and receiving something different was unfortunate.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Provided that these fans meet their CFM spec (I have no way of measuring), then they're excellent.
They're quiet and are equipped with a shiny LED.
Cons: No cons I can think of, unless you hate shiny LEDs.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: *Much faster than stock. (It's really not the same computer.)
*Easy to install.
Cons: None that I can really think of.
Other Thoughts: Highly recommended for any 900A PC running XP. Mine mostly hung anytime applications were accessed, and I would go away for hours during program installations.
