This review is from: ASUS P5E LGA 775 Intel X38 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: Unbelievable motherboard ahead of its time. I bought this in Nov 2007. I have not had a need to upgrade yet. I have debated upgrading to newer motherboards but this still runs all the latest applications and games with super performance. I just recently installed a third SSD and a clean install to Windows 8.
This is still my main dev and gaming rig. The PC still screams. My PC is running an overclocked Q9450 @ 2.83 Ghz, 8 GB RAM, x3 120 GB SSD, x1 1TB HD, x2 ATI 6870.
Unbelievable board, definitely can't go wrong with ASUS. I probably won't upgrade this until it craps out.
Cons: LGA775, but but fortunately the Intel Quad Core series were a great line of procdessors.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: CORSAIR 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Memory for Apple Model CMSA8GX3M2A1066C7
Pros: I upgraded from 4 GB to 8 GB and the speed improvement during games and/or multi-tasking is definitely noticeable. I have had zero issues with this RAM since installation.
Cons: Just a little tricky to get out of the original packaging, felt like I was almost going to break the chips, however, they popped out just fine.
