ZOTAC AMP! GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) 1536MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card ZT-50102-10P
ZOTAC AMP! GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) 1536MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card ZT-50102-10P

Pros: A satisfying purchase. Runs all of my games seamlessly on two 1080p monitors, while keeping a cool <76c under max loads after having ran for hours in a fan cooled case. I can finally run everything I wanted to at max graphics :D

Cons: None as of yet, no failures or short comings. Only thing is the price, but if you are willing to drop the extra money, you won't regret it.

Exterior looks great, but interior...

Lenovo Thinkpad T520 - i5 2.5GHz - 8gb - 160gb SSD - DVD-RW - 15.6" Screen - - Webcam - Win 7 Pro 64
Lenovo Thinkpad T520 - i5 2.5GHz - 8gb - 160gb SSD - DVD-RW - 15.6" Screen - - Webcam - Win 7 Pro 64

Pros: Great condition for a refurb, over all condition is good, SSD makes for a quick boot, and it came with zero bloatware. Packaging was nice with a pleasant thank you note between the closed laptop. I payed for expedited shipping and received the laptop 6 days after ordering.

Cons: The major drawback of this purchase: -Heat issues. My CPU idles at 40C (104F) and after opening an application or installing something the CPU shoots up to ~90C(197F) and shuts down. Happened right out of the box. Windows event viewer came up with nothing but unexpected shutdowns, with no other errors or warnings to discern why. A quick stress test with monitoring made it obvious overheating was the cause. I'm on the fence between sending it in, or doing the repair myself by disassembling the laptop and replacing the thermal paste. I am not sure how thoroughly companies refurbish products, but this laptop is almost non functional. The minor drawbacks of the product I got were: - a few slightly worn keys. - a worn exterior corner on the top of the screen. -four keys with dirt or some kind of residue that I used my fingernail to clean off.

Overall Review: Overall everything looks good. From the looks of things purchasing this product is a toss up between getting a good product or getting one with issues.

Noctua NH-U12P SE2 120mm SSO CPU Cooler
Noctua NH-U12P SE2 120mm SSO CPU Cooler

Pros: This cooler works well. It dropped my cpu temp somewhere around 10c. Also very easy to install, although others may think the clip on mounts for the two fans are cheap, I find that they are all too easy to install and take off, and do their job just fine.

Cons: It barely fits in my Antec 900, but I suppose that's what I get for skimping on the case!

Intel Core i7-950 - Core i7 Bloomfield Quad-Core 3.06 GHz LGA 1366 130W Processor - BX80601950
Intel Core i7-950 - Core i7 Bloomfield Quad-Core 3.06 GHz LGA 1366 130W Processor - BX80601950

Pros: Fantastic. I've had my i7 OC'd @ 4.0Ghz for a few months now. In a fan ran case, it never exceeds 45c. Ran with Prime 95, the cores never ran past 75c and the the cpu as a whole never exceeded 72c.

Cons: None yet. No failures, does it's job beautifully. Only consideration if the price, but if you want a top performing machine, you won't regret the purchase.

Pros: -Lighting is fairly bright, with adjustable intensity. -Keys are laser etched. -Looks are great. -responsive.

Cons: -One color for lights. -No usb ports or any other add ons.

Overall Review: Overall a satisfying purchase, the key board does what a keyboard needs to do, and looks good doing it.

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB 240-Pin PC RAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9S-4GBRL

Pros: Gets the job done and does what RAM needs to do. I'm using 4x4gb sticks in my OC'd rig right now.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Looks aren't really important to me, but the top edge looks pretty neato.
