significantly better internet connection
Other Thoughts: I connect to my landlord's Comcast wireless internet in the adjoining apartment. I was using a Belkin adapter and decided to change to this TP Link adapter to try and get a better connection. With the Belkin I was getting just under 14 MBPS. By just plugging this adapter in and connecting gave me more than a 3 times better connection at 50 MBPS. I then moved the adapter closer to the wall closest to the adjoining apartment, and the connection increased to 77 - 80 MBPS. I am very happy with the performance of this TP Link wireless adapter and would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs to make a stronger wireless connection to a distant modem.READ FULL REVIEW
Cons: The switch came with a dead battery in the remote unit even though it had plastic wrapped over the electrodes. It would only turn the light on and would not turn it off. When I turned the light off by the off switch on the wall unit, it goes off but pops right back on within a couple of seconds.
Other Thoughts: I got burned for $3.99 already, and I'll probably have to spend that much just to return it to get a 10 dollar refund. Wish I had never bought it at all.
It's made in China. Seems like everything I purchase that is made in China ends up getting returned, and I end up losing money on the two-way shipping.
