Cons: Too many defective boards.
Other Thoughts: 2 bad boards in a row, and they were NOT the same problems with both boards. The first board would power on for a few milliseconds and then shut down. The second board stayed running but had no video. 2 bad boards in a row; it ain't gonna happen a third time. Others who have purchased this board have also had similar problems.
I spent 160 dollars someone else gave me to build this for them, and if it's not ready by the end of the weekend, I have to give him his money back. He didn't want to wait for the first replacement, but I talked him into it; he's most certainly not going to wait another week for another replacement.
Pros: It's AMD. Price is right.
Cons: Burnt out on me in just over 3 years; it was only days out of warranty
Other Thoughts: I always use AMD processors when building computers, but this one, for my own personal computer, burnt out when it was just over the warranty period. Using it in two different motherboards, the CPU temps were climbing up so high, the board would just shut down when under a heavy load. I initially thought it was the Gigabyte motherboard that was at fault, but I purchased an ASRock MB, and it did the same as the Gigabyte board. This is the first time I in 12 years I have encountered a processor that did this.READ FULL REVIEW
Cons: doesn't work
Other Thoughts: Not recommended. Neither BIOS or Windows disk manager in 10 could see the drive. UEFI BIOS showed that the slot was empty even after trying to reseat it several times. I wanted this drive to work so I didn't have to return it, but nothing worked, so I returned it.
I would never recommend a defective product like this one to anyone.
