Pros: - Fast Multi-threaded performance
- Very easily overclocked
- Won Silicon Lottery
Cons: - Stock heatsink & fan are not worth it
Other Thoughts: First off, you absolutely do not need to buy the FX-8350 to get more performance. They ARE the same processor with different default clock speeds (and different results of the silicon lottery). I have mine overclocked to a decent 4.2GHz (the same speed as the 8350's Turbo mode) without raising Voltage and I know I can get the clock up to higher speeds but 4.2GHz is perfect for me right now. I definitely feel that I have won the silicon lottery if I can get 700MHz out of the processor without increasing the Volts (My mobo set the volts unusually high though so I actually had to lower the Volts. It defaulted to 1.44V or something above 1.4V).
It is stable with 4.2GHz @ 1.344V.
You will have to buy a new heatsink if you want to Overclock this CPU though.
With an aftermarket heatsink idle CPU Core temps are around 24-28C and under 100% load from Prime95, CPU Core temps are around 56C.

Pros: - Was Only $0.99, so can't go wrong with that price!
Cons: - none
Other Thoughts: I got this game for $0.99 along with a new Mobo and Ram. Haven't played it yet because of Fallout 4 and The Witcher 3 but can't turn down an offer like this.READ FULL REVIEW
