ASUS EAH5870/G/2DIS/1GD5/A Radeon HD 5870 (Cypress XT) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card w/ATI Eyefinity

Pros: After studying a few GPU benchmark charts i decided to switch from my usual Nvidia preference and go with this card. Upgraded from a 9800 GT and wow i am impressed. If you are a 60 fps enthusiast i suggest going with this card. I really see no need for crossfire mode at this time, just make sure you got a good processor so you don't get bottle necked. It works very swell with my Core i7.

Cons: Driver problems? I experienced none. Windows 7 picked up the card right off the bat and i downloaded the latest catalyst drivers from the AMD website. The card is smooth as silk and i have had absolutely no bugging or problems whatsoever.

Other Thoughts: I have played the following games at an average of 55-60 FPS at MAXIMUM setting with AA and Anisotropic Filtering MAXED.

Fallout 3
Left 4 Dead 2
Call of Duty Modern Warfare
The Orange Box
Grand Theft Auto IV (Maxed out but view distance only at 40. I can live with that. It's still beautiful.)

My Specs:

This Wonderful Card

5 out of 5 eggs Nice 02/04/2010

This review is from: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium

Pros: I have been using XP for the past 6 years and have been somewhat flaky about going into vista or 7. It was time for me to build a new computer and i decided to go with this. Well my superstitions have been put to rest. I was impressed by this OS. It's sleek and sexy looking and runs more stable than i thought it would. Has more features than i really need and are use to but hey nothing wrong with a little extra.

Cons: None that i can think off.

Other Thoughts: I'm Good.
