360 Speaker System ...

Logitech Recertified 980-000329 Z320 10 Watts (RMS) 2.0 Speaker System
Logitech Recertified 980-000329 Z320 10 Watts (RMS) 2.0 Speaker System

Pros: Great sounding speaker. I wanted something better than a cheap set of speakers but I do not need high end. This filled the bill!

Cons: This is refurbished so I did not necessarily expect the same as a new retail box. The box was a used retail box (very noticeable) and the cords were not packed neatly. If this was a gift for someone I would have been ticked. This was more like open box .....

Overall Review: Save yourself some $$$ and get this as long as you can live with the packaging.

Most Critical Review

Asus lost a customer ....

ASUS AC3200 Tri-Band Gigabit Wi-Fi Router, AiProtection Lifetime Security by Trend Micro, Adaptive QoS, Parental Control
ASUS AC3200 Tri-Band Gigabit Wi-Fi Router, AiProtection Lifetime Security by Trend Micro, Adaptive QoS, Parental Control

Pros: Beautiful design. Router has the most features of any GUI based firmware on the market. Range is excellent.

Cons: The firmware has been buggy from day one. Constant wireless connection drops, router lock ups requiring hard reboot. After 5 months the unit has become unuseable - power issues. Asus has no advance replacement for defective units - repair only. Customer support abysmal. See below.

Overall Review: I have been a loyal Asus owners for years. I previously owned an Rt-N56U which served me well. The RT-N56U died after about a year and Asus sent me a replacement. I also own Asus MB's, DVD Roms, Monitors - yes an Asus Fanboy. So when I got the Rt-AC3200 it had issues out of the box which I attributed to bad firmware. Asus has always been good about updating firmware so I was not too worried. Unfortunately the router resets have gotten worse as the firmware has been updated. Finally the router started having power issues. So I called Asus expecting to get an advanced replacement unit which is what they did on my Rt-N56U when it went bad. They don't offer that service anymore. So now I have a $300 plus brick and no router. Also tech support said check the power adapter to see if the light is on. The power adapter has no light! Great service Asus! Thanks Asus for releasing a buggy product to the market and not supporting your customer when it physically fails.

Great card but overhyped ....

XFX Radeon RX 480 8GB DDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Black Edition Video Card RX-480M8BBA6
XFX Radeon RX 480 8GB DDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Black Edition Video Card RX-480M8BBA6

Pros: !. Much faster than the Nvidia 660 TI I swapped out. 2. Freesync 3. More Freesync 4. 8GB of memory

Cons: 1. Product was overhyped 2. Not as power efficient as new Nvidia cards

Overall Review: I have no regrets about buying this card. It goes as fast I need to go with my Pixio 144mhz 2560*1440 Freesync monitor. The new Nvidia GTX 1060 will likely outperform this card for another $50 but Nvidia can keep there cards because G-Sync monitors run plus $200 for comparable Freesync monitors. Also the 1060 has 6gb of memory which can cause delays in game if tyou run out of memory.

Great bargain .....

8 Feet 12 Outlets 4350 Joules Home Office Surge Protector (RF-PCS12ES), manufactured and warranted by CyberPower
8 Feet 12 Outlets 4350 Joules Home Office Surge Protector (RF-PCS12ES), manufactured and warranted by CyberPower

Pros: It is an energy saving beast, has room for 4 brick adapters plus 8 regular ac plugs. The energy saving feature works as advertised - I have my monitor and speakers plugged into the master controlled ac slots and my computer plugged into the master slot. When I turn off my pc or go into sleep mode the monitor and speakers shut off. In the 5 always on outlets I have my ooma voip device, my Asus RT-AC3200 router, a D-Link 16 port switch, and an Arris SB6141 Cable modem. My computer is a custom built PC with a 850 watt power supply.

Cons: The rocker switch Is in an odd place and feels cheap.

Overall Review: For my pc to work I had to make one change in the Bios ( setting for power loss). In one of the reviews someone mentioned they didn't want there surge protector turning off ac ports - that is the whole purpose of this surge protector to shut off ac ports automatically when not needed to save energy costs, I would not pay regular price (North of 30) but South of 20 it was a good buy.

Works, but .....

Rosewill RHSP-15001 6 Feet 8 Outlets 2300 Joules Fireproof Power Surge Protector with 2-Port 3.1 A USB Charger
Rosewill RHSP-15001 6 Feet 8 Outlets 2300 Joules Fireproof Power Surge Protector with 2-Port 3.1 A USB Charger

Pros: It works.

Cons: The layout of the outlets is poor. The 6 outlets are too tight if you have any slightly oversized plugs. If you have any right angle plugs forget it. The USB ports were claimed to be fast charge but they are not Quick charge 2.0 ports. They charge half as fast as Quick Charge 2.0 ports with my Motorola X 2nd generation phone.

Overall Review: Avoid this and get a better designed surge protector - plenty out there.

Great CB!

Midland Portable/Mobile Handheld CB/Weather Radio 75-822
Midland Portable/Mobile Handheld CB/Weather Radio 75-822

Pros: The distance for a portable is good. The size is perfect - I can hang a strap around my neck and put the cb in my shirt pocket while hunting. While the CB is in my shirt pocket I can hear the radio well without having to turn up the radio.

Cons: The rechargeable battery pack had a broken battery contact when I went to put batteries in the unit. Midland sent me another one - no hassle, US based customer service.

Overall Review: I have been using CBs for 35 years and this by far is the best portable. Per the customer service rep it takes 6 hours to charge the portable batteries (not included) and the unit has protection against overcharging the batteries.
