Awesome for my needs!
Pros: Used to replace a 4 port wireless-G Belkin router, so I am in love with this thing. I have it connected to my main machine and have never had a problem with connection or speed. Wireless connections to Wii, PS3, laptop upstairs, kid's PC and XBox 360 downstairs, plus 3 iPod touches. This router has worked flawlessly since day one.
Cons: The clock is wrong but apparently I'm not concerned about that since I've owned it over a year. Every PC has a clock in the toolbar and I have a clock on the wall.
Overall Review: After installing, my laptop connection jumped from ~30Mbps to 65Mbps (the highest my ISP goes without losing my wallet). The kid's PC in the basement went from losing signal to a highest 24Mbps to a constant 54Mbps. (He still has a wireless-G card). He can be on his XBox Live while I'm transferring files to my laptop and surfing the web/downloading on my main PC with no drop in speed for any of it. I could not be happier with the price I paid for this router.
Excellent Sound Quality
Pros: I didn't have to mess with any of the buttons to control the sound. I unpacked it, plugged it into my phone and instantly left myself a voicemail. It sounded better than when I've left a voicemail using just the built-in microphone. It comes with 4 different sized earbuds.
Cons: The right earbud (the mic side) tends to not want to stay in my ear no matter the earbud size. I did not deduct an egg as I'm sure it's because I'm not used to using earbuds and I can get it to work over time.
Overall Review: This was a definite deal for what I was after. I work from home 2 days of the week and didn't feel that my phone use on those 2 days warranted spending the big bucks to get an over-the-ear headset. Less than 30 bucks and I now have a perfect solution. They ship from China so it can take 2 weeks to arrive but there's a nice little thank you note from the manufacturer that I felt was a nice added touch. I will be recommending these to my colleagues.
Help for lessthandan
Pros: None as of yet, but will be buying them soon. Egg rating will more than likely go up considering all the other reviews.
Cons: None as of yet.
Overall Review: I needed to write this review because newegg doesn't have a "comment" button for other people's reviews. *dan -- It is a known fact that motherboard audio is not for audio enthusiasts. Buy yourself a PCI audio card by Creative. You should be able to get one for a reasonable price of around 35. I hate to see you (or anyone else) drop an egg and/or not enjoy their new headphones because they don't have a decent audio card in their system.
Yet another positive review
Pros: Gorgeous, simply gorgeous. I wish all keyboards felt like this. Keys are almost flat and board is heavy so no sliding.
Cons: None. This board is awesome!
I read merv's review and have high hopes
Pros: Resolution is outstanding. Twice as good as my other Viewsonic. A 19" VG900b. And I thought that was a good monitor.
Cons: None as of yet.
Overall Review: As it says in the title, I read merv's review and I sure hope it is limited to his monitor.
Bad reviewers are nuts
Pros: Separation of power supply from mainboard greatly improves airflow for cooling PS and cpu, graphics card, etc...
Cons: The only thing to consider would be if you never built a PC before. Sure, it takes some time with this case, but it's truly worth it! Hello, modular cables so no extra wires floating around!
Overall Review: ASUS P5B Deluxe, Core2Duo E6600 2.4, 2x1GB Kingston SDRAM DDR2 800, ATI Radeon X1950PRO 256MB GDDR3 PCIx16 HDCP and one of those gargantuan Zalman CNPS9500 AT 2 Ball CPU Cooling Fan/heatsinks running VISTA. PLENTY of room left for air to flow for those that think the video card is too big, case is poorly designed, blah blah blah. My PC has been running awesome since day one and not a drop in performance or increase in heat even when it's been over 90F in the room. I've had to turn my older P4 3.0E case off, but never this one. Also using Antec NeoHE 550.
