Pros: I bought the black 13in i5 4 meg 128 g ssd for a lower price, but it did not offer all the software as this model.
Battery life is amazing over 10 hours. Light below 3#s. I increased the ssd by buying a 128g memory card for less than $80. Super fast start up. I dont know why everyone dislikes ms8.1. To me it is just a skinned over Windows 7.
The slider is well built. I looked at the Viao Flip 13 with similar specs, cost more and shorter battery life, but I thought the flip screen was flimzy. Love the lighted keys.
Cons: Like everyone says in laptop mode the angle of the screen is fine on a table, but if you want to Skype the web cam aims for the ceiling. You need to prop up the back of the computer 1 inch or so to aim the web cam to your face. I can deal with that. I looked for a dooking station with power like the Targus 3.0 power dock, but I am told Targus does not make a power tip to fit this Sony computer.
Computer is hard to hold in your hands at this size or larger in Tablet mode. A 11 inch would be a better idea, but the older Sony Vaio Duo 11 got bad reviews so the redesign is this.
Other Thoughts: I like the computer and it really is well build. Sony will no longer make computers soon so this may be the last one.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Winegard SS-2000 16" SquareShooter UHF Antenna
Pros: This antenna is low cost, easy to install and looks good. It says that it is UHF but I get VHF channel 11 (NBC 2.1 Orlando FL) as well with the optional antenna booster installed. Since it gets all of the HD channels for the area I am very pleased.
Cons: My Sq. Shooter 2000 was delivered without the power booster Amp. I had to call Winegard directly and they sent it out to me.
Other Thoughts: Since VHF transmission/reception does not travel far, why does any TV station broadcast in the VHS frequency?READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: DViCO FusionHDTV7 Dual Express DUAL HDTV/Analog TV Tuner Card W/PVR
Pros: Sure it is a dual HDTV card when it works.
Cons: The software looks great, but crashed my system every time I used it. The customer support from Divco is awful. It is done by email and takes days if not weeks to get a reply. The TV guide on the software does not work at all. The hardware seems to be good and the HD tuner does work with GBPVP but the Analog does not work on GBPVR because this card lacks a hardware decoder. I was unable to get the dual HD Tuner (record 2 HD shows at one time) on GBPVR. I returned my card and will by a Hauppauge HVR-2250 for a little more money.READ FULL REVIEW
