Antec Performance One P180 Silver cold rolled steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: more than 1 year

5 out of 5 eggs the most durable, easy to work in case i've ever owned 12/09/2011

This review is from: Antec Performance One P180 Silver cold rolled steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: I purchased this case in 2007, and have kept my gaming computer up to date in it since. It's so easy to work in, and it's incredibly durable. I've moved around a lot, and I never have to worry about my components being in danger because they're in a steel vault. I'll use this case until I stop buying ATX motherboards

Cons: It's incredibly heavy. You could easily injure your back picking this thing up the wrong way.

  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: fast, stable, high quality heatsink, attractive packaging, came with a stylish case badge.

Cons: none(that means buy it!)

Other Thoughts: This is my first time buying a G.Skill product, so I took a chance. I'm glad I did. I will definitely buy their products in the future.

Pros: great looking, high quality, easy to work in, and most importantly very flexible. lots of sections in the case that can be removed or moved to better suit your needs.

Cons: none really. 8800GTX clears the middle cage by about half an inch, and you must remove that harddrive mount, but i moved both anway to place a fan there (see below)

Other Thoughts: for performance computers, especially with high end graphic cards, I recommend moving the fan from the lower chamber to the designated area between the mid harddrive cage and the front of the case. There is nothing to cool down there besides a harddrive that won't even get hot, and it has a much better purpose blowing cold air into the case, right infront of your graphics card(s).
