SanDisk Extreme 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Model SDCZ80-032G-A46
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Fast. This thing reads at 200MBs and writes at 100+MBs. That's what I've been looking for. Most USB 3.0 flash drives read/write at about 20/10. That's not even a really good USB 2.0 drive. If it lasts a year, it's well worth the thirty bucks I paid for it.

Cons: None so far.

2 out of 5 eggs Nice USB 2.0 Thumbdrive 02/16/2014

This review is from: ADATA DashDrive UV128 16GB Flash Drive Model AUV128-16G-RBY

Pros: Low price for a 16Gb drive.

Cons: When I plub this thing in, everything starts great. I'll start to transfer 8Gb of files, and the progress indicator shows about 120GB/s speed. That continues until about 80% has been transferred, then all progress stops. Nothing happens for five to ten minutes, then the progress indicator starts up again showing about 5GB/s until the transfer is finished. Average write speed is about 15-20 GB/s. Reading is better. Files transfer at about 40GB/s. Pretty much like a really good USB 2.0 flashdrive.

Other Thoughts: I've got an USB 2.0 flashdrive from AData, and I really can't tell much difference between the two whether in a USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 port.
