Amazing

Razer Nostromo PC Gaming Keypad
Razer Nostromo PC Gaming Keypad

Pros: This thing is great! So far after 3 days of using it. I am starting to get some finger memory and dont have to think to hard which button i wanna go for. You can customize the heck out of this thing. I can't wait to really play with all the features.

Cons: The only thing I would change is the default location of WASD I had trouble getting used to the default W key being on the top row and having no buttons above them which I was used to from a regular keyboard. What I ended up doing was remapping the WASD to lower them all by 1 row on the Nostromo and using the top row as a 1-5 which worked out great. One other thing to consider if you play games like MMOs where you are using Esc to cancel and hitting buttons like C for Character and B for Bags etc it can be a tiny bit annoying to either map keys to the Nostromo for that or moving your left hand back and fourth when you have to do that. Still both my cons are minor and can be customized away at the users preferance.

I suggest passing on this Laptop

ASUS ROG G750 Series G750JH-DB71 Notebook Intel Core i7 4700HQ (2.40GHz) 24GB Memory 1TB HDD 256GB SSD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M 4GB GDDR5 17.3" Windows 8 64-Bit
ASUS ROG G750 Series G750JH-DB71 Notebook Intel Core i7 4700HQ (2.40GHz) 24GB Memory 1TB HDD 256GB SSD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M 4GB GDDR5 17.3" Windows 8 64-Bit

Pros: It looks good, very slick with the Stealth fighter feel. It will definitely turn heads. Its also very fast and the hardware inside if running flawless will rival most peoples desktops.

Cons: Right out of the Box I had a number of Problems. 1. The DVD/Blue Ray drive had alot of trouble reading Discs I had to reboot, reinsert and manually start disc after disc. I would clean them and carefully put them in and it still had trouble reading them. Trying to install all the discs for Sims 3 was a nightmare. 2. It stopped Charging on the 4th day. It detected that it was plugged in and would sit a 0-1% charging but never go up. I even restored it back to factory and it didnt help. 3. It was VERY Heavy. I know this is a gaming laptop but it is very heavy and very big. Compared to the MSI GT70 series it is almost needlessly large. 4. It has a needless Assassins Creed Logo Etched into the Palm Rest. While thats kinda cool it sorta Dates the laptop and if you dont intend on playing the game or worse don't like it there is no need to have it Etched into your new Gaming Laptop. If it was a Sticker it would be MUCH better. 5. The Hard Drives are Partitioned really awkward. The 2 128gb SSD is in a raid 0 but partitioned into 2 128gb and the 1tb storage drive is partitioned into 2 500gb drives. totally unnecessary.

Overall Review: I ended up returning it for a full refund and bought the MSI GT70 2OD-019US and love it. It runs ALOT better has none of the above issues and was much lighter and seemed to run a lot cooler. It also had a few features that this one didn't.

ASUS Rampage IV Extreme LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: I bought this board in late 2011 when it launched and still to this day it runs great the features are awesome and it is still the best motherboard I have ever owned.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: If you want the best feature rich x79 board get this one! It is the top of the line! Asus has one of the best Motherboard designers working for them at the moment and it shows in the quality of their boards!
