This review is from: Microsoft Xbox One Wireless Controller - 3.5mm Stereo Headset
Pros: -Good button layout
-Play while charging
Cons: -I prefer the PS3 analog button placement, but that controller doesn't natively work with a PC
-The bumpers WILL break. It's just a matter of time. For me, that time was 2 weeks.
Other Thoughts: Just be aware that the bumper buttons are designed in such a way that it relies on a narrow strip of plastic to click the actual button that is deep within the controller. So over time, that plastic is going to wear out and crack and you're going to be repairing or replacing your controller. It took two weeks on mine. And then I had to deal with Microsoft 'customer service' which is probably the single worst experience I've ever had with an online business.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Turtle Beach Ear Force Z300 Wireless 7.1 Surround Sound PC Gaming Headset
Pros: 1.) Sound quality is good for games
2.) 2 simultaneous inputs
3.) Mic is not as problematic as with older models
Cons: 1.) Extremely short wireless range
2.) Annoying, low quality voice prompts that stop your audio when they play
3.) Cheap, problematic USB receiver that loses connection when you're 12 inches away from it.
4.) Shallow, poor sound quality for music. The much less expensive PX3 has better sound quality.
5.) Low Battery prompt doesn't always work, and so sometimes it just turns off without warning.
6.) Short battery life. Not even close to advertised 14 hours.
7.) Receiver is flimsy and feels like it's going to break when you click the pairing button.
Other Thoughts: Just skip these. I got them on a black friday sale for $89 and even for that price I'm highly disappointed. I love the PX3, except for the fact that when it powers off, the whole thing has to be reset to make the microphone work again. That's the only reason I 'upgraded.' The quality and build of this headset feels like it's a $39 Logitech that I bought at Target.
The sound quality is fine for gaming. There is some, but not much noise canceling.
Just skip this and get something else. $200? Really?
This review is from: MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GD5T OC
Pros: No coil whine.
Triple the performance of my previous card (7870)
Don't have to SLI to play games in 1080p
Cons: I have had this card for 4 months now. No problems experienced until this month. Recently the Nvidia driver started crashing a lot, and sometimes games just crash to the desktop. I have done extensive temperature, power, and stress testing.
Other Thoughts: I want to love this card. But I am feeling like I should have chosen another brand. Maybe I just got unlucky. I'll try to work with MSI and see what happens.READ FULL REVIEW
