a few oddities fixed
Pros: Great price, small and lightweight
Cons: After adding a WD 2TB AV HDD I ran into some beeping/rebooting problems. But fixed them (see other) Could use at least one external sensor input. But for the price? Hey. Also mouse was intermittently functional.
Overall Review: After adding a WD 2TB AV HDD I ran into some beeping/rebooting problems. Did some YouTube research and found that if the HDD wasn't freshly formatted with NO cameras plugged in, it would do this. Still had the problem after the format. I even ran SpinRite on the HDD for over 100 hours (level 2) but found the drive had no errors. Finally I decided to replace the intermittent mouse and that took care of the beep/reboot problems. Good thing too because my dog was afraid of the beeps and had abandoned me. This unit runs hot with no fan so added a couple of micro squirrel cage fans plugged into the socket provided for a fan and now all is cool albeit slightly less quiet than before.
The two I have so far are perfect for my SAN
Pros: Love this drive over the WD Red. They are faster and have better vibration control. Also I believe the platters have support on both ends rather than one like lesser drives.
Cons: Wish I had more of them.
Overall Review: Use SpinRite Level 2 to verify the device and you will be fine.
Good storage value
Pros: When they work, all is good
Cons: One of two ordered was DOA but 1.5 weeks later the RMA unit worked fine
Overall Review: Appreciated NewEgg providing the return shipping label.
Pretty Good
Pros: Good sound and volume. Great price and battery charges are good.
Cons: Bracket does not fit my head or ears and is quickly uncomfortable. There is no adjustment to this. Bass is there but breaks up quickly if you try to drive it more with your equalizer. Still, decent enough. If you can fit the elements tight against your ears the bass gets much better.
Overall Review: I'm planning to use a heat gun on low to melt shape the head band for comfort, but that isn't a good solution for everyone.
Perfect for Linux on EeePC
Pros: Good brand, SSD and cheap
Cons: Smallish for many main drive OS needs (not mine).
Overall Review: Bought this to replace main HDD in EeePC with Leeenux Linux OS as the base OS for a system that normally runs Tails Live DVD. Leeenux has code that prevents overuse of SSD drives plus it's very small in size. Boots and works a treat. This is my second one of these.
