Pros: Decent price. good quality.
Other Thoughts: Bought two of these cards -- installed one in an AMD hex machine, Windows 8 and the other in an Intel X4 machine, Windows 7. They work flawlessly and run cool. I have recommended this card to others. I am not a heavy gamer -- Minecraft, TF2, Roblox -- this works great for them.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit
Pros: It's Windows 7. Love W7 -- even better than XP. I got this for $25.00 off the regular price.
Cons: It took a week to get here. They shipped it from a location that is 100 miles from my house. It went 400 miles North East, then 200 miles West so it could finally travel almost 400 miles South to get to me. I hate when they ship by DHL
Other Thoughts: $75 for Win 7 64 bit -- worth the wait.
Pros: card was inexpensive. XP automatically installed drivers. Able to handle games when I bought it over a year ago
Cons: Does not support Hardware Acceleration. It will not let you play games such as Mercenaries 2, Spiderman, Section 8. It will easily handle Spiderwick Chronicles, Kung fu Panda, and any Lego series games.
The card does not have a fan so I installed one and it still hovers around 102 degrees f -- 106 under a load. With that said, it has kept on performing for over a year now.
Other Thoughts: If you are not into games this is a great card. Excellent with DVD and Netflix video. Again, consider installing a fan on the heatsink -- it will hit 109 f at idle without one.
Always had alot of luck with ECS products (Mobos and vid cards)
