This review is from: New Asus EEE PC EEEPC 700 701 900 901 Keyboard Black US
Pros: This new keyboard fits and works perfectly with my 900. Since I originally had the linux version, now I have a neato windows button where the little 'home' button used to be.
Cons: the ribbon connector wasn't scored so it was a bit difficult to get it under the keyboard.
Other Thoughts: noneREAD FULL REVIEW
Pros: The brushed metal of the face place looks great. It has every port I need, including micro SD and some that I don't. This adds USB 3.0 to the front of my case which lacks USB 3.0 ports up front.
Cons: One of the USB 2.0 ports went dead after a week of use, so I'll have to spend more money on return shipping to get it replaced.
Other Thoughts: I've had great success with other Rosewill products. This is the first that has actually broken on me.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASRock A770DE+ AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: This is a unique board that I had hoped would allow me to upgrade to an AM3 chip and DDR3 RAM. I'm currently still running an AM2 chip (phenom II) and DDR2 RAM. While it worked, it worked well enough. The OC options and other BIOS features are laid out well. The Board also has a good layout, although the CPU mount is setup for a front-to-back airflow rather than a down-to-up airflow. It's a good board if you have an old AM2/AM3 chip sitting around and don't care if it lasts more than 2 years.
Cons: Over the last 9 months, I've been experiencing occasional blue-screens and random lockups. This turned into a weekly problem, then quickly turned into a daily problem, then hourly. I replaced the Motherboard, keeping all of the same other components, and the system is solid again. This is the third Asrock board to fail on me. That's actually 3 out of 3 asrock boards to fail on me. The first one failed while still under warranty. It was RMA'd and the replacement failed, too, but outside of warranty. I want to support the brand, but this is going to be my last asrock board.
Other Thoughts: I'm disappointed that this board died in just over 2 years worth of use. I replaced it with a 7-year-old board that is still going strong. I guess it isn't much of a problem, since AMD changed their 'latest gen' chips for a different form factor, making an upgrade to AM3/ddr3 moot. If I upgrade, I'll need a new board, anyway.READ FULL REVIEW
