Cooler Master HAF Stacker 935 Two-Piece Mod-Tower Computer Case with Top Compartment for Extra Storage Space, Water Cooling Support, or Mini-ITX System
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: less than 1 day

Pros: This thing is huge. I don't think its physically possible to run out of room in this case. plenty of drive storage, great cable management, and the ability to house two (or even three) systems. right now I have the 915R on the bottom housing my HDDs and DVD drive. very sturdily built, too. the tinted acrylic panel is a nice addition, if a bit of a fingerprint magnet. watercooling potential is huge.

Cons: a few nitpicks. the standoffs were a bit stubborn to get into place, and the included Phillips head adapter is completely useless (maybe I just got a junk one). a few of the drive bay caddys had the screws that hold the hard drives in place pop out, so they could be designed a bit better. also, USB3 to USB2 adapters really should be standard on cases with USB 3 ports. also, this thing is a behemoth, in case I didn't get that through. its about 3 feet tall. also, the 915R is useless on its own because it doesn't come with any power buttons or ports, making the mini-ITX mounts next to useless.

Other Thoughts: If you plan on using this as a multiple system build, get the HAF Stacker 915F along with it. it's a bit better designed for Mini-ITX systems. for any other use, this is a great case.

ASRock 970DE3/U3S3 AM3+ AMD 770 + SB710 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: really good legacy support, core unlocker, price

Cons: Does NOT like OC'ing. maybe its just my particular setup, but anything past default clock speeds = randoml BSODs.

Other Thoughts: overall decent product.

Rosewill REDBONE Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

5 out of 5 eggs great for the price 07/03/2012

This review is from: Rosewill REDBONE Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: It was 40$ on sale. Seems sturdy enough. fans blow a lot of air without being loud or distracting. The power button being blue doesn't really bother me. front E-Sata and HD audio ports are a plus.

Cons: Not sure if this is Rosewill's fault or just UPS being lazy, but when I received it in the mail, the bottom left corner of the case where the power supply mounts was dented to the point where the power supply wouldn't fit properly. Not really a reason to knock an egg off, though. (nothing a pair of pliers couldn't fix)

Other Thoughts: Apparently the side fans are supposed to be 140mm, not 120mm. just a heads up to whoever's reading this...

(not that it matters, I stuck an 80mm on there I had lying around anyway, and it fit pretty snug.)
