ADATA Premier SP600 2.5

Pros: Newegg! Newgg shipping! Easy Install. Faster. than I was expecting.

Cons: I had a devil of a time finding and downloading the free Acronis migration software.

Other Thoughts: I bought this drive because it was on sale at less than 50 cents/Gbyte. Installed in a laptop computer. Boot time went from about a minute to 12 seconds. When I purchased it, reviews showed it as a middle of the road SSD. The last one I purchased was a top of the line SSD about a year ago. I am amazed at how much faster this drive is than that older one.
I was unable to locate and download the free migration software from Acronis, I finally used EaseUS TODO backup software to migrate from the HDD.

5 out of 5 eggs Easy As Pie 07/11/2012

This review is from: EDIMAX EW-7128Gn N150 PCI Wireless Adapter for PC and Mac

Pros: Cheap price. Simple Installation. Plug it in, install the software. Found my network and connected with no problems. The range is decent. It is installed in a HTPC and is situated about 60 feet from my wireless router through four walls (wood frame, drywall). It is also very reliable, no dropped signals whatsoever. And decent performace, regularly pulls 100 MBPS with no problems.
We regularly watch Netflix in HD mode without any any hesitation .
Did I mention, its cheap (got it on sale for $14 at Newegg)

Cons: None. Well, yeah one I guess, it doesn't physically install itself.

Other Thoughts: I had such good luck with this product, I recently purchased two more, another sale, and free shipping. Installed one this evening, same as the first one, easy as pie. Running like a top.

5 out of 5 eggs Great Product, Price and Performance 03/18/2012

This review is from: EDIMAX EW-7128Gn N150 PCI Wireless Adapter for PC and Mac

Pros: Installation was simple, I just followed the directions that came in the box. It found my wireless network and connected with absolutely no problems whatsoever.

Cons: Not really a con, but... my wireless router supports B/G/N. But I can't tell which one the EDIMAX is using (I know it's not B). But the wireless connection is faster than my Internet connection so it doesn't really matter for now.

Other Thoughts: Installation: I installed this in an HTPC that has an ASUS E35 M1-M Series Motherboard. Specifically to use for access to HD internet video, such as Netflix.
It is a solid, fast connection with no hiccups so far and its running through six walls at a distance of about 50 feet.
Performance Comparison: Previously I was using a Netgear WNDR3300 as an access point via the motherboards built in Ethernet connection, the EDIMAX has no more impact on the computer than the ethernet connection did (I disabled the ethernet connection). Wireless performance is just as good.

First impression: The external antenna is a bit on the short side. But dynamite comes in small packages, because this works admirably.

I got this on sale, plus a $10 gift certificate and free shipping for a grand total of $3.00!!!! As usual for Newegg, the packaging and shipping was excellent and super fast.
