Pros: The aluminum frame of the pad is good for cooling even without the fans for everyday use
The fans themselves are quiet and easy to install and change positions on the pad
Cons: The aluminum may hum when the laptop is in full load from vibrations.
The back support of the pad are bendable and mine came with uneven support so I had to physically bend it so that the each side was parallel and leveled.
Other Thoughts: decent pad if the pad is in perfect condition, mine was a bit defective but not enough for return (I woulid lose shipping cost and return shipping cost)READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Noctua NH-D14 120mm & 140mm SSO CPU Cooler
Pros: My individual core temperatures are in the single digits in celcius..
Idle temp from the asus thermal reader is 34 celcius
At full load with games and etc I get only about 45 celcius max
Simply the best cooler for overclocking and people who want to keep their cpus like fridges
Cons: This thing is a pain to install in mid sized towers.
The clearance issue for the rams is important make sure to have low profile rams before installing!!
Did i mention that this thing is huge??
however this cooler will perform so that the size issues or whatever is forgotten.
the mounting brackets are one of the most painful things to install. I recommend two people to install this to insure fast installation.
In addition, the cpu fans on this coolers are 3 pin fans.
You can connect both fans to the cpu fan, but the speed control might not work as effectively if your motherboard cant adjust fan speed through voltage.
Other Thoughts: gigigiiginormous yes I love itREAD FULL REVIEW
