Pros: Much faster than I had thought. Would rather get over the Black version especially if you already have an SSD as a boot drive, but this is just my gaming drive and it does it job exceptionally well.
Cons: Actually only has 931GB but most HDD are like that.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Worked right out of the box. Has fan controllers which you don't see often on CPU fans. Great looking especially in my color coordinated build (black and orange with some red). Keeps i5-3570K anywhere between 35-40C idle. Probably the loudest component in my case but it's still extremely quiet compared to Hyper 212+
Cons: Installation instructions were terrible; just a bunch of pictures with letters that identify the components. Not directions whatsoever, but most CPU fans are difficult anyways.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Perfect color scheme for my build.
Comes with specs that you will definitely not find on any other z77 motherboard at around this price. Runs my Intel i5-3570k, 16GB G-Skill Ares 1600. and GTX 670 beautifully.
Cons: Audio connector is oddly placed making cable management hard for builders with big cases ( I used a mid tower). Wished the Sata connectors were off to the side, but that's what you get with the EX4 edition so hey, you get what you pay for.
There are also limited fan headers - 1 CPU fan and 2 case fans.
Other Thoughts: Don't hesitate to try this. Biostar is definitely a big contender among motherboard manufacturers. I would definitely pick it over Gigabyte (which fried on me after 6 months) and their infamous boot loop error (which also happened to after 6 months before frying). Will come back to update in 6 months if it doesn't die before that!
Have yet to overclock because I haven't found the need to.
