Pros: Love the look; takes up very little room on the shelf. Great price for an AC router. Connection is reliable, especially on the 5GHz band. Easily handles iPad Air 2 AC WiFi and laptop, plus smart TV.
Cons: Having to disable NAT Booster to make changes is annoying.
Other Thoughts: When it reboots after changes it doesn't connect unless I reboot twice. While this is odd, it doesn't really take away from the performance.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This will be my third Samsung SSD. My other 2 are still working beautifully and I just ordered another 840 Pro because I wanted to bump up from 256GB to 512GB. The Newegg discount was also a bonus.
The 840 Pro is lightening fast, extremely reliable, and the Magician software is exceptional.
Other Thoughts: You simply can't go wrong with the 840 Pro, which is noticeably faster than the lower-end Samsung SSD's. I have an 830 series and the 840 Pro and the pro is faster. It is also able to take advantage of the rapid boot in the Magician, which makes it even faster.
So if you're undecided, the extra $$ for the Pro series is well worth it IMHO.
Pros: Looks good and has potential but it's not stable.
Cons: Started out great then it started dropping out. I upgraded the firmware but that didn't help. Now it keeps saying to upgrade firmware, then it says firmware is current. Tech support claims update is on the way and had me tweak some settings but it made no difference.
During the moments when this thing works it's blazing fast. But the QOS has to be disabled and then you lose all the benefits of having a $200 router.
Netgear has really messed up with this and should not have released it until they knew how to make it work.
I don't really want to RMA but it needs to work.
Other Thoughts: Can't really recommend this until the firmware is updated.READ FULL REVIEW
