This review is from: APEVIA X-DREAMER4 Series X-DREAMER4-PK Pink Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: its pink
Cons: Where do I start? included are several fans, all molex -.- the connectors fall apart during connections, all but 1 I had to manually reinsert the pins with needle nose pliers because they separated from the enclosure. Thin, low grade metal, cheap plastic components, no standoff support for the right side of ATX boards, usb 3.0 and other front panel wires need to be at LEAST 6 inches longer than they are, and heres the big one. The friggin front panel doesnt line up with the 3.5" bays correctly. Seriously you have to manhandle your optical drive into the slot because the whole front panel sits almost 1/8" below the actual slot.
Other Thoughts: This was my first apevia product, I will never buy another. For $70 you would expect much better quality. I bought this case for my girlfriend, Luckily she doesn't seem to mind the problems as long as it works, because its pink. For me on the other hand, as a builder, my mood changes just looking at this thing. A cool paint job does not justify a $70 price tag when it comes to PC components. Buy a Mid range Cooler Master and paint it yourselfREAD FULL REVIEW
This review is from: AMD FX-8150 Zambezi 8-Core 3.6 GHz Socket AM3+ 125W FD8150FRGUBOX Desktop Processor
Pros: Very easy to overclock, and very stable. I run mine at 4.5Ghz with a cooler master v8 and it never skips a beat. My temps stay below room temperature, which due to a broken heater in my apartment, lets the cpu Idle at NINE DEGREES CELSIUS.
Cons: buying a reasonably priced AMD product gets you pelted with excrement from Intel Fanboys.
Other Thoughts: the first one I ordered had a couple of bent pins, AMD cross shipped me a brand new one in an unopened retail box and I didn't even have to send them back anything other than the defective chip itself, which was good because I lost most of the interior packaging, including the felt square under the pins.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This card lives up to and beyond all of my most unrealistic expectations. I can play Crysis 2(and 3 beta), BF3, Borderlands 2, Planetside 2, Alice 2, Mass effect 3, Skyrim, and SO many more games at 60 frames per second or more! I have the card clocked to 850 Mhz and the memory at 2000hz and it never goes above 45C with the Twin Frozr II cooler.
Cons: The fans get little loud over 50% speed, but its not worth losing an egg over.
Other Thoughts: Thank you newegg for resupplying this card. It was gone for a while and I was depressed in thinking that if I ever wanted to run SLI I would have to settle for the EVGA model that runs MUCH hotter and costs a fair bit more. I will be buying a second MSI N570GTX within the next month.READ FULL REVIEW
